<\/h3>\n<p>To conduct and contribute to learning, teaching, and knowledge transfer to benefit students, the School, the University and the wider community. <\/p>\n<h3>Main Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<p><b>Learning and Teaching <\/b> <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Lead the development and review of curricula and programmes through liaison with colleagues in Dubai and London. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the curriculum is at the forefront of knowledge and reflects the latest research insights and materials. <\/li>\n<li>Lead the development of innovative approaches to learning and teaching. <\/li>\n<li>Coach and develop others in teaching methods and practice. <\/li>\n<li>Deliver high quality teaching to students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. <\/li>\n<li>Lead initiatives to enhance student experience and outcomes. <\/li>\n<li>Provide academic advice and counselling. <\/li>\n<li>Supervise dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. <\/li>\n<li>Liaise closely with teaching, technical and administrative staff as appropriate to ensure a quality teaching and learning environment. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u062a\u0637\u0644\u0628\u0627\u062a <\/h3>\n<p><b>Knowledge, Skills and Experience <\/b> <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Appropriate academic qualifications at postgraduate level (normally a doctorate or equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Information Systems. <\/li>\n<li>Understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques. <\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software such as R, Python, SAS, or SPSS. <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. <\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with database querying languages like SQL. <\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching across the general curriculum of one or more of the following areas: <\/li>\n<li>Business Analytics <\/li>\n<li>Data Science <\/li>\n<li>Statistics <\/li>\n<li>Natural Language Processing <\/li>\n<li>Data Ethics, Security, and Privacy <\/li>\n<li>Evidence of competence in the fields mentioned above and a track record of research outputs, normally of high international standing, commensurate for stage of career. <\/li>\n<li>Track record of innovation in teaching and learning, reflected in design, delivery and promotion of good professional practice. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to engage students and staff, and to motivate them to perform at their best. <\/li>\n<li>Proven record of success in undertaking, supervising and managing research activity, including Masters supervision. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Additional Experience <\/b> <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Previous experience working in business analytics, data analysis, or a related field is highly desirable. <\/li>\n<li>Experience applying analytical techniques to real-world business problems. <\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with various industries and their analytics needs, such as marketing analytics, financial analytics, operations analytics, HR analytics, etc. <\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with big data analysis and cloud-based platforms like Microsoft Azure. <\/li>\n<li>Proven record of success in undertaking, supervising and managing research activity, with at least some experience of student supervision. <\/li>\n<li>Evidence of ability to attract research and knowledge transfer
