Role Purpose: <\/h3>\n

Incumbent will lead site team for overall execution of projects to the required quality within time and budget.
In charge of a building contract and, as such, must be aware and in control of all aspects of site operations, including the planning of site progress. It is the manager\/agent who has responsibility for both the profitability of operations and adherence to the agreed construction and cost plans. <\/p>\n

Key Task and Responsibilities: <\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Running the site from setup to completion, controlling all aspects of site operations & management. <\/li>\n
  2. Ensuring the project runs to schedule and to budget, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays, such as the late arrival of materials. <\/li>\n
  3. Coordinating with Specialists for design & site activities. <\/li>\n
  4. Liaising with PQS & PM to review cost-related issues like budgets, allowances, s\/c prices, variation claims, etc. <\/li>\n
  5. Discussing Material Procurement schedule to meet program requirements to avoid delays. <\/li>\n
  6. Proper calculations for Material requirements. <\/li>\n
  7. Requisitioning for Material. <\/li>\n
  8. Assisting in preparation of Main Contract Program & monitoring. <\/li>\n
  9. Forecasting of Labour & Plant. <\/li>\n
  10. Setting Targets and Monitoring Productivity\/Performance of Labour & Subcontractors. <\/li>\n
  11. Leading regular site meetings with project teams, professionals, including quantity surveyors, building services engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and the client who has commissioned the building. <\/li>\n
  12. Preparing or assisting Method Statements and all other site documentation. <\/li>\n
  13. Conducting Risk Assessments. <\/li>\n
  14. Training and identifying training requirements for staff. <\/li>\n
  15. Compiling accurate monthly reports for Client and HO reflecting accurately the work to date. <\/li>\n
  16. Carrying out the Coordination of information & technical matters. On large projects specifically assigned as project coordinator. <\/li>\n
  17. Maintaining strict quality control procedures – this necessitates regular testing of materials, visual inspections of work, and frequent tours of the site. <\/li>\n
  18. Monitoring site testing records \u2013 especially the concrete cubes. <\/li>\n
  19. Conducting regular site safety checks. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Experience, Knowledge and Skills: <\/h3>\n

    Degree in Engineering
    8 to 10 years of experience. Experience in Villa finishes is essential.
    Should be Influencing, Negotiating & Customer Focussed.
    Expert in Planning, Organizing, Scheduling & Coordinating.
    Should be good in Decision Making, Problem Solving & Time Management.
    Fluent in English \u2013 written, oral & presentation. <\/p>\n
