Job Purpose: <\/strong> <\/p>\n

The Chef de Partie plays a key role in leading a specific section of the kitchen. Responsible for supervising and supporting junior staff, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization. This mid-level position reports to the Sous Chef and is essential for the smooth operation of daily kitchen service. <\/p>\n

  1. Manage a designated section (Hot or Cold) in the kitchen and ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation and presentation. <\/li>\n
  2. Supervise and train Commis Chefs and other junior staff within your section. <\/li>\n
  3. Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards. <\/li>\n
  4. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in your section, following food safety regulations at all times. <\/li>\n
  5. Coordinate with other kitchen sections and the Sous Chef for smooth and efficient service. <\/li>\n
  6. Monitor inventory levels in your section and inform the Sous Chef of ordering needs. <\/li>\n
  7. Ensure all kitchen equipment in your section is properly maintained and report any malfunctions. <\/li>\n
  8. Contribute to menu development and dish innovation within your area of responsibility. <\/li>\n
  9. Maintain a positive and professional work environment, even during high-pressure service periods. <\/li>\n
  10. Uphold the brand standards of Home Bakery and act as a role model for junior staff. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
