Manages transport and storage of equipment and supplies. <\/p>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0633\u0624\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u062a <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Prioritize tasks to ensure effective functioning within the area. <\/li>\n<li>Follow the chain of command when reporting incidents or concerns. <\/li>\n<li>Manage workload efficiently and complete correspondence promptly. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to Hospital Policies and Procedures regarding safety, infection control, and security. <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate patient flow within the Operating Room and facilitate transfer of equipment from other departments under the guidance of the Holding Bay Nurse and Unit Coordinator. <\/li>\n<li>Assist staff nurses in transporting patients from the ward to the Operating Room and vice versa, following established procedures. <\/li>\n<li>Identify patients accurately using two identifiers (name and MRN). <\/li>\n<li>Help with the transport and positioning of patients within the Operating Room as requested by OR staff. <\/li>\n<li>Assist nursing staff with the safe movement of equipment within the Operating Room and between areas, ensuring proper use of equipment. <\/li>\n<li>Transport Operating Room tables safely within the department. <\/li>\n<li>Support registered nurses in transporting critical patients to and from the Operating Room. <\/li>\n<li>Check and replenish specimen containers and ensure an adequate supply of Formalin. <\/li>\n<li>Sort and distribute laundered linen and maintain sufficient linen supplies. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor stock levels of designated consumables used in the department. <\/li>\n<li>Re-stock warming cabinets with blankets, linen, and irrigation fluids as needed. <\/li>\n<li>Deliver mail and documents to and from the Operating Room as required. <\/li>\n<li>Collect medications from the Pharmacy as needed. <\/li>\n<li>Deliver supplies and equipment to the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). <\/li>\n<li>Transport specimens to the Laboratory using proper containers as needed. <\/li>\n<li>Collect and store supplies as required. <\/li>\n<li>Participate in staff orientation when needed. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient Porter audit slips. <\/li>\n<li>Keep work areas clean and maintain tidiness in Operating Room corridors. <\/li>\n<li>Participate actively in unit staff meetings (60%-80% of the year). <\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development and achievement of unit goals. <\/li>\n<li>Perform additional duties within the scope of practice as required. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent. <\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English (written and spoken). <\/li>\n<li>Organizational and customer service skills\/experience preferred. <\/li>\n<li>Basic Life Support (BLS)\/Heart Saver certification preferred. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u0645\u0639\u0644\u0648\u0645\u0627\u062a \u0639\u0646\u0627 <\/h3>\n<p>American Hospital Dubai is dedicated to being an employer that helps its employees realize their full potential and set benchmarks in medical excellence.
