We are looking to hire a dynamic and experienced electrical engineer for a newly ventured business segment for GI in the Middle East with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience. <\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities <\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Testing and commissioning of transmission substations (132kV, 220kV & 400kV) <\/li>\n
  2. Technical supervision, site coordination, and design of electrical projects. <\/li>\n
  3. Understanding and regular follow-up for customer\u2019s power requirement needs. <\/li>\n
  4. Conduct site surveys of existing arrangements. <\/li>\n
  5. Analyze electrical systems, designs, and components; prepare drawings and load schedules. <\/li>\n
  6. Liaise with local utility organizations in view of customer requirements. <\/li>\n
  7. Coordinate with the Project Manager for evaluation of project costs. <\/li>\n
  8. Execute projects as per the latest local utility standards. <\/li>\n
  9. Attend client\/customer meetings. <\/li>\n
  10. Order material requirements and check availability at the site prior to the start of work. <\/li>\n
  11. Supervise site technicians and ensure adherence to schedule. <\/li>\n
  12. Report to the Project Manager on a daily basis. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Job Requirements <\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of transmission substations (132kV, 220kV & 400kV) <\/li>\n
    2. Familiarity with testing and commissioning of power transformers, gas-insulated switchgears, LVAC, etc. <\/li>\n
    3. Proven engineering experience, preferably in electrical contracting or power transmission and distribution-related businesses. <\/li>\n
    4. Knowledge of the latest international standards and specifications of local utilities. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Preferred Qualifications <\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. 2+ years of relevant experience <\/li>\n
      2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering <\/li>\n
      3. UAE Driving License is an added advantage. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
