Job Description \u2013 Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant<\/p>\n
Position Overview<\/p>\n
We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, designing solutions, configuring Business Central modules, and supporting implementation and post-go-live activities. The role requires strong functional knowledge of Business Central (previously NAV) across finance, supply chain, sales, and operations.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Document functional requirements, workflows, and solution design.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to align with business processes.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Support module implementation across Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, and Projects.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assist with data migration and system integrations.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prepare test cases, conduct UAT, and resolve defects.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Deliver end-user training and create user manuals\/documentation.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Act as a bridge between business teams and technical developers.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ensure timely communication of project status, risks, and issues.<\/p>\n
Required Skills & Experience<\/p>\n
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.<\/p>\n
\u2022 5+ years of experience working as a Functional Consultant with Dynamics 365 Business Central \/ Microsoft NAV.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Strong knowledge of finance, supply chain, sales, and operations modules.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional documentation, testing, and training.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Hands-on experience in data migration and integrations with third-party systems.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
\u2022 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Certification.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Prior experience with end-to-end Business Central implementations.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Experience in industries such as Retail, Manufacturing, or Services.<\/p>\n
