If you\u2019re a Registered Nurse or Assistant Nurse and you\u2019ve actually worked in these roles before (not just watched Grey\u2019s Anatomy a lot), <\/p>\n<h3>They want you for a bunch of different gigs: <\/h3>\n<p>\u2013 Outpatient Clinic (yeah, the hustle is real)<br \/>\u2013 Paediatric ER (kids + emergencies, you need nerves of steel)<br \/>\u2013 Paediatric Ward &#038; Clinic<br \/>\u2013 Operation Room (scalpels and drama)<br \/>\u2013 Endoscopy (tiny cameras up places you don\u2019t wanna think about)<br \/>\u2013 Labour &#038; Delivery (cue the baby cries)<br \/>\u2013 Maternity (lots of glowing\u2026 and not-so-glowing\u2026 moms)<br \/>\u2013 OBGYN OT (Operating Theatre, not overtime, though you\u2019ll probably get both)<br \/>\u2013 NICU &#038; Midwife (tiny humans need big hearts) <\/p>\n<h3>You gotta have actual nursing experience <\/h3>\n<p>For the job you\u2019re applying for. Plus, a DHA or DOH license (or, at least an eligibility letter\u2014no, your mom saying you\u2019re great doesn\u2019t count). Oh, and they want you to start ASAP, so if you\u2019re just \u201cthinking about it,\u201d maybe sit this one out. <\/p>\n<h3>Why NMC? <\/h3>\n<p>Well, they say you\u2019ll be joining a team that actually cares about patients (not just paperwork), you\u2019ll get chances to level up with training, and apparently, they actually appreciate your skills.
