This isn\u2019t your typical desk job \u2013 you\u2019ll be the person figuring out how to solve cooling problems in places where nobody\u2019s done it before. <\/p>\n<p>Every project is different. One day you might be designing a custom chiller system for a floating production platform, the next you could be solving how to cool a gas processing facility in 50\u00b0C desert heat. Our customers come to us with problems that off-the-shelf equipment can\u2019t handle, and it\u2019s your job to make it work. <\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be working with a solid team of engineers who\u2019ve been solving cooling challenges for years. The Dubai office gives you access to the Middle East market where the heat is brutal and the cooling demands are massive. Plus, you\u2019re close enough to offshore projects to actually see your designs get built and commissioned. <\/p>\n<h3>What You\u2019ll Actually Do <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Design custom cooling systems from scratch for offshore and industrial applications around the world. <\/li>\n<li>Run heat load calculations and system modeling to make sure your design actually works <\/li>\n<li>Select equipment, size piping, and spec out everything from compressors to control panels <\/li>\n<li>Work with customers to understand their real problems, not just what they think they need <\/li>\n<li>Create detailed engineering drawings and P&#038;IDs that fabricators can actually build from <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with our field teams so your designs work in the real world <\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot when installations don\u2019t go as planned (because they never do) <\/li>\n<li>Stay current on new refrigerants, equipment, and energy efficiency requirements <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We Need From You <\/h3>\n<p><strong>Education &#038; Background: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering degree, or equivalent experience that proves you know your stuff <\/li>\n<li>3-7 years designing industrial cooling systems, preferably for harsh environments <\/li>\n<li>Experience with offshore, marine, or desert applications is a huge plus <\/li>\n<li>Understanding of international codes and standards <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills You Must Have: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid thermodynamics background \u2013 you need to understand what\u2019s happening, not just run software <\/li>\n<li>Experience with cooling load calculations and system sizing <\/li>\n<li>Know your way around AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software <\/li>\n<li>Familiar with simulation software (ANSYS, CFD tools, refrigeration modeling programs) <\/li>\n<li>Understanding of refrigeration cycles, heat exchangers, and compressor selection <\/li>\n<li>Can read and create P&#038;IDs, electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams (Helps, but not required) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Refrigeration Knowledge: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Know the difference between different refrigeration systems and components and when to use each <\/li>\n<li>Experience with new eco friendly refrigerants <\/li>\n<li>Understanding of heat pump applications and energy recovery systems <\/li>\n<li>Familiar with chiller types \u2013 centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, absorption <\/li>\n<li>Know safety requirements for different refrigerant classifications <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Engineering Skills: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can do heat transfer calculations without just relying on software <\/li>\n<li>Understand pump and fan curves, pressure drop calculations <\/li>\n<li>Know electrical basics \u2013 motor sizing, control circuits, power requirements <\/li>\n<li>Experience with instrumentation and control system design <\/li>\n<li>Understanding of piping design, insulation, and structural considerations <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u0627\u0644\u062e\u0628\u0631\u0629 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0646\u0627\u0639\u0629: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiar with offshore equipment requirements (vibration, corrosion, space constraints) <\/li>\n<li>Understanding of hazardous area classifications and explosion-proof equipment <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and environmental regulations <\/li>\n<li>Experience working with international suppliers and equipment manufacturers <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Software Tools: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AutoCAD or similar drafting software (you\u2019ll live in this) <\/li>\n<li>Excel for calculations and data analysis <\/li>\n<li>Refrigeration modeling software <\/li>\n<li>Project management tools for tracking multiple designs <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Skills: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can explain complex technical concepts to non-engineers <\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented \u2013 small mistakes become big problems in the field <\/li>\n<li>Able to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball <\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with international teams and customers <\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving mindset \u2013 our customers need solutions, not excuses <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Working in Dubai <\/h3>\n<p>Our Dubai office puts you at the center of the Middle East energy industry. You\u2019ll be working on projects from the Arabian Gulf to the North sea, with customers who have serious cooling challenges. <\/p>\n<p>The team is international \u2013 engineers from different backgrounds bringing different perspectives to tough problems. English is the working language, but Arabic or other languages are a plus for customer interactions. <\/p>\n<p>Dubai\u2019s location means reasonable travel to project sites when you need to see your designs in action or troubleshoot issues.
