As the VP, you will work directly under the supervision of the President, focusing on driving organic, profitable growth and ensuring alignment with industry-leading practices globally. <\/p>\n<p>What You Will Bring: <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strategic foresight and robust leadership skills to guide large-scale projects and teams towards achieving the delegate sales vision and stretch targets. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Commitment to steering the delegate sales teams towards successful, sustainable, and innovative practices, making a significant impact on the revenue path. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 As VP will be responsible for managing the Delegate Sales Teams on our energy events. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 You will work closely with the Leadership Team to transform the brand of the delegate sales team and raise the profile of the function internally and with our key clients. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative and have the ability to influence and implement change at a senior level with a clear strategy to grow the annual 27 million dollar budget. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Thrive in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment, demonstrating flexibility and a passion for continuous improvement. <\/p>\n<p>As the VP, you will be at the heart of delegate sales revenue, driving initiatives that not only lead but transform the energy industry. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a significant impact and thrives in dynamic environments. <\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sales Performance: Achieving and exceeding budgeted sales targets through effective delegate acquisition strategies. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Influencing \u2013 Guiding, influencing and collaborating with VP and SVP colleagues across the Energy portfolio to develop strategies to maximise revenue <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Client Relationship Management: Building strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Market Research: Identifying new opportunities, market trends, and industry insights to optimise delegate sales strategies. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Lead Generation: Proactively creating data acquisition campaigns to expand the client base and maximise event attendance. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Team Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, and other sales teams to ensure seamless execution of sales campaigns. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Reporting and Analysis: Establishing regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and forecasting to management and collecting data to refine future sales plans. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Software: Ensuring all sales processes and systems are adhered to as per company best practice. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Event Expertise: Having in-depth knowledge of the events or conferences being promoted to effectively match delegate campaigns with the event offerings. <\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, &#038; SKILLS: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong background in event sales and marketing. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Extensive experience of managing delegate sales teams and knowledge of impactful delegate acquisition strategies. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Be able to create a manageable definition of a Key Account and deliver an appropriate growth strategy. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong leadership qualities to effectively lead and guide teams. <\/p>\n<p>Technical \/ Functional <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects to tight deadlines. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Financial and commercial awareness. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to create and manage a sales pipeline\/budget\/P&#038;L \u2013 provide weekly reports with an accurate forecast. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience in the use of databases (preferably Salesforce) in both mass and targeted sales campaigns. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Knowledge of the energy industry a distinct advantage. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Customer focused. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Excellent command of written and spoken (business) English \u2013 other languages could be an advantage. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sound commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with and relate to all levels both within and outside the organisation. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Good knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel. <\/p>\n<p>Personal Attributes \/ Interpersonal <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Excellent people skills <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 High attention to detail <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Communication \u2013 excellent written and verbal English <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Self-motivated <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Good team working ethics <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to generate ideas <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Lateral thinking <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Analytical skills <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to travel <\/p>\n<p><strong>dmg events is an equal opportunity employer.
