This is a high\u2011ownership role for someone who leads from the front \u2013 writing code, making architectural decisions, and building with AI at their side. You will set the technical bar, drive consistent delivery, and be the bridge between engineering and company leadership. In a fast\u2011moving environment, priorities shift without warning. You are expected to adapt immediately, re\u2011prioritise without friction, and always be thinking 10 steps ahead \u2013 anticipating architectural needs, scaling challenges, and product directions before they are formally asked for. We expect you to be deeply hands\u2011on with Claude Code and AI\u2011assisted development: not as a buzz\u2011word, but as a core part of how you work every day. <\/p>\n<p>We are not looking for someone who simply manages a team. You also have the chance to ask broader questions about culture, structure, and expectations. <\/li>\n<li>Practical Task (Paid, Real\u2011World Scenario) \u2013 You will complete a practical, role\u2011relevant task reflecting the level of thinking expected from a Head of Development.
