They build a deeper understanding of their cluster and support the HRBP by providing advice to the clusters and implementing employer branding, employee engagement and talent management initiatives. <\/p>\n<h3>Talent Identification, Succession Planning and Performance Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Support succession\u2011planning processes to identify and mobilize talent for movements within the GEMS network <\/li>\n<li>Maintain records for talent initiatives including 9\u2011box grid, leadership databases and talent pipelines <\/li>\n<li>Support internal talent branding and attraction strategies <\/li>\n<li>Maintain up\u2011to\u2011date HR cluster dashboard(s) and implement action plan to address key areas <\/li>\n<li>Advocate efficient performance\u2011management process in schools, across all staff categories <\/li>\n<li>Work in partnership with HRBP on implementation of the PDP for the assigned cluster <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Recruitment &#038; Retention <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure school leadership hiring is aligned with internal talent mapping and external pipelining projects <\/li>\n<li>Maintain alignment with the cluster\u2011level recruitment plan and coordinate with the central recruitment team <\/li>\n<li>Maintain a central record of key vacancies <\/li>\n<li>Facilitate annual intentions process, perform data analysis and study exit trends to implement best\u2011suited retention and recruitment strategies <\/li>\n<li>Facilitate quality assurance on exit process periodically to support improved retention year on year <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Culture &#038; Employee Relations <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate the organization\u2019s climate\u2011survey actions and monitor the pulse of the organization to anticipate issues <\/li>\n<li>Represent and advocate core values through all people\u2011focused initiatives in schools <\/li>\n<li>Promote and contribute to staff wellness and wellbeing programs and initiatives <\/li>\n<li>Support HRBP in managing employee issues and whistle\u2011blower reports <\/li>\n<li>Support HRBP in implementing GEMS separation procedures, grievance, and discipline policies in assigned schools <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>HR Operations &#038; Compliance <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the GR team to provide up\u2011to\u2011date knowledge of employment law and regulatory expectations <\/li>\n<li>Ensure employee reconciliations are performed by schools <\/li>\n<li>Drive safer recruitment policy compliance across GEMS MENASA network, including ongoing advice to schools and coordinating trainings as needed <\/li>\n<li>Conduct safer recruitment audits periodically and analyse findings, recommending action plans for improvements in partnership with HRBP <\/li>\n<li>Build knowledge of legal requirements related to day\u2011to\u2011day management of employees and P&#038;O policies, thereby reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Reporting &#038; Data Analytics <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own HR data for the assigned cluster(s) and drive ongoing improvement and maintenance of data quality <\/li>\n<li>Support implementation of HR automation projects and collaborate with ERP, data\u2011analytics and HR projects teams to deliver core automation business objectives <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Skills &#038; Experience <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience <\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills <\/li>\n<li>Emotionally intelligent and capable of handling complex situations <\/li>\n<li>Analytical and strategic thinking abilities <\/li>\n<li>High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted strategic projects alongside day\u2011to\u2011day tactical activities <\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with diverse personalities, tactful and mature <\/li>\n<li>Results\u2011oriented with judgement to balance other business considerations; service\u2011oriented yet assertive\/persuasive <\/li>\n<li>GEMS Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students and staff.
