The End User Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless IT support for the Mega DC Warehouse’s daily operations. The role includes managing warehouse-specific devices (e.g., PDTs, printers, scanners), maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the uptime of critical systems. This position requires hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. <\/p>\n

Technical Support and Troubleshooting <\/strong> <\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Provide Level 1\/2 support for IT hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, and handheld devices (PDTs). <\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with wireless access points, barcode scanners, and printers in the warehouse. <\/li>\n
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based operating systems and applications. <\/li>\n
  • Monitor and maintain connectivity in key areas, such as automated and manual zones within the warehouse. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Incident and Service Request Management <\/strong> <\/h3>\n

    • Log and track incidents and service requests in a ticketing system. <\/li>\n
    • Ensure timely resolution of issues in alignment with SLAs. <\/li>\n
    • Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend solutions to reduce downtime. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Warehouse Operations Support <\/strong> <\/h3>\n

      • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements. <\/li>\n
      • Collaborate with warehouse teams to support operational needs and ensure IT readiness during peak hours. <\/li>\n
      • Address signal issues in critical areas like the Automated areas and implement solutions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Documentation and User Training <\/strong> <\/h3>\n

        • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support activities. <\/li>\n
        • Create and update knowledge base articles for recurring issues. <\/li>\n
        • Provide training to warehouse staff on the use of IT devices and applications. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Proactive Maintenance and Improvement <\/strong> <\/h3>\n

          • Perform health checks on datacenter facilities and IT infrastructure. <\/li>\n
          • Suggest improvements to processes and technologies to enhance efficiency. <\/li>\n
          • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with organizational policies. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Qualifications and Experience: <\/strong> <\/h3>\n

              • 4\u20137 years of experience in end-user support or IT infrastructure roles, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment. <\/li>\n
              • Hands-on experience with:\n

                • Windows Server 2012\/2016 and Active Directory. <\/li>\n
                • Handheld devices (e.g., PDTs) and wireless networks. <\/li>\n
                • Enterprise printers and scanners. <\/li>\n
                • Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Skills: <\/strong> <\/p>\n

                    \n
                  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. <\/li>\n
                  • Excellent verbal and written communication. <\/li>\n
                  • Familiarity with ITIL processes. <\/li>\n
                  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, including Cisco switches and access points. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Certifications (Preferred): <\/strong> <\/p>\n

                    • MCSE, ITIL Foundation, or CCNA. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      • Onsite presence at the Mega DC Warehouse in Jebel Ali is mandatory. <\/li>\n
                      • Must be available for a 24\/7 support environment, including shift rotations and weekends. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
