This role focuses on managing event operations, financials, sales, and customer service to deliver successful events. <\/p>\n<h3>Financial Management and Reporting <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive results by managing an efficient and profitable operation with a focus on revenue maximisation and profitability using cost control measures in accordance with the company\u2019s standard operating procedures. <\/li>\n<li>Achieve Encore\u2019s financial goals for the location(s) by effectively managing labour, equipment sub-rentals and other costs. <\/li>\n<li>Understand and utilise operational and financial reports and complete standard and ad hoc reports accurately and on time. <\/li>\n<li>Utilise the company billing system to coordinate invoicing activities and ensure that billing is reviewed and approved by clients. <\/li>\n<li>See the Big Picture by completing the sales forecast at the home location, ensuring they are accurate and submitted timely. <\/li>\n<li>Participate in business review presentations as needed, in collaboration with regional management. <\/li>\n<li>Review and manage location P&#038;L and develop action plans to address deficiencies and grow the business. <\/li>\n<li>Confirm venue partners process all payments to Encore in a timely basis. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Operations Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups, operation, and strikes. Assist on the floor as needed. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all equipment and services are delivered on time, in good working condition and as specified by clients and the venue, and in accordance with brand standards. <\/li>\n<li>Anticipate equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner. <\/li>\n<li>Use inventory control procedures to maintain proper inventory levels while also maintaining safety, security, and quality assurance of equipment. <\/li>\n<li>See the Big Picture by efficiently sharing labour and equipment within the local market. <\/li>\n<li>Attend operational venue meetings such as daily stand-up meetings with venue operations staff. <\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager and the Area Manager, ensure that all HSE guidelines are properly implemented. <\/li>\n<li>Promote a healthy and safe working environment at all times, and provide feedback to the Health and Safety Manager on all HSE issues at the venue. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Sales Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with regional sales teams to create effective sales strategies to maximise revenue per-event for assigned customers, including upsell and cross-sell opportunities. <\/li>\n<li>Prepare and deliver compelling presentations that convey the value of Encore and effectively solve customer challenges. <\/li>\n<li>Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers, including those submitted through the website, venue booking system, or other sources as assigned. <\/li>\n<li>Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience. <\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with vendors and other departments\/divisions of the company to capture and service events. <\/li>\n<li>Understand event cost structure and incorporate into solution designs according to established profitability guidelines. <\/li>\n<li>Attend customer meetings, understanding their goals and responding to their questions and challenges. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure all customer information is up to date and accurate in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system at all times. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain knowledge of new product\/service offerings and emerging technology supporting meetings and events. <\/li>\n<li>Create and present information and needs are met and the equipment setup is accurate and working properly. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor small to medium size events and check in on customers throughout the day. <\/li>\n<li>Enforce the guidelines in the Employee Guide and\/or venue standards for the team to portray a polished and professional image. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Technical Ability <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand and oversee the technical aspects of the job and apply basic to advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills to guide technicians in resolving equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner. <\/li>\n<li>Effectively utilise applicable company computer systems. <\/li>\n<li>Act as on-site technical expert as needed for events. <\/li>\n<li>Assist on the floor with operations as needed. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>People Development <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Value People by promoting a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. <\/li>\n<li>Manage performance, address employee concerns, maintain adequate staffing levels, and facilitate team development. <\/li>\n<li>Manage HR activities including selection,
