  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and serviced to upkeep equipment and to avoid breakdowns. <\/li>\n
  • Perform preventive maintenance and complete turnover quickly and efficiently to satisfy and meet guest needs. <\/li>\n
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and be available in emergencies, applying the appropriate action as per hotel policy and standards. <\/li>\n
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests\u2019 and colleagues\u2019 health and safety, and to conserve the environment. <\/li>\n
  • Comply with hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Education, Qualifications & Experiences <\/h3>\n

    You should ideally be a licensed high\/low pressure boiler operator with previous experience in a similar role and proven knowledge in operating equipment such as steam engines, generators, motors, turbines and\/or steam boilers. A good command of English and the ability to fault-find and rectify subsystems are essential. <\/p>\n
