Company: TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING S.A., DUBAI BRANCH. <\/p>\n<h3>Your mission <\/h3>\n<p>As Resident Engineer \u2013 Electrical (Substation) in our Transmission &#038; Distribution department, you will manage the electrical engineering portfolio of high-voltage power substation projects (400kV \/ 220kV \/ 132kV). You will ensure technical, HSE, and financial performance during design and construction supervision, while overseeing complex site works and maintaining client and stakeholder coordination. <\/p>\n<h3>Your key responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all aspects of substation electrical engineering during design and construction supervision. <\/li>\n<li>Supervise and manage technical works for 400kV \/ 220kV \/ 132kV substations on behalf of the Client (TRANSCO). <\/li>\n<li>Oversee site activities and ensure construction strictly follows approved designs. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor, report, and resolve non-conformance issues. <\/li>\n<li>Plan, organize, and supervise engineering and inspection activities. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards throughout project execution. <\/li>\n<li>Manage client and customer interfaces to ensure strong relationships and effective communication. <\/li>\n<li>Review, verify, and close out installed quantities. <\/li>\n<li>Provide progress reports and advise on technical solutions where required. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Your qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering (approved by UAE regulatory authorities). <\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience in electrical engineering with a focus on substation projects in the UAE. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Who you are <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical expertise in substation projects (400kV \/ 220kV \/ 132kV). <\/li>\n<li>Skilled in site supervision, project management, and construction monitoring. <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of utility requirements, contract procedures, and QA\/QC processes. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Your soft skills <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication and leadership abilities. <\/li>\n<li>Strong coordination skills with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. <\/li>\n<li>Proactive problem solver with an eye for detail. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Preference <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA or other major UAE utilities will be highly preferred. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Who we are <\/h3>\n<p>Our top priorities are people, ethics, safety, and sustainability.
