Main Duties\/Responsibilities: <\/p>\n
Supervise the service staff team <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ensure the standards are plied with 100% of the guest 100% of the time. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Be punctual, greet colleagues and reports to supervisor upon arrival for duties. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Arrive at work well groomed, prepared and display enthusiasm. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Follow proper payroll and uniform procedures. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage\/dining experience for all events. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Anticipate and service of guests’ requirements before requests is necessary. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Be familiar with the beverage service including stemware used and appropriates garnishes. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standard. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Utilize the hotel’s computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silver. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Change ashtrays, serve cigarettes, crumb tables and offer additional beverages and cigars. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ascertain a guest’s satisfaction and handle any problem, which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Service all needs for private dining room or private function. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Report any accident or guest complaint immediately, no matter how minor, to a manager. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Recognize and address potential disruptive or undesirable guests. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Move tables and chairs. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Breakdown any buffets, displays or side stations when needed. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Clean service area when needed. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Provide unobtrusive and professional service. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Serve a dish to guests while explaining the contents and preparation. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Provide water, bread and butter service throughout the meal to guests. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Offer coffee or tea and serve any requested according to Palazzo Versace standards. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Report for duty 5 minutes before the scheduled time, clean and tidy and wearing the correct uniform. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Carry and break down trays properly and safely. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ensuring all set up\u2019s and mise en place is set for the next day\u2019s events. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ensure all areas, stores and back areas are always kept clean and tidy. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Sweep\/vacuum the floor before a shift if needed. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Attend all the training subjects to the service colleagues and follows all rules and policies of the hotel. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Handle cash and credit card procedures according to the guidelines of the accounting department. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Identify potential problems and ask for assistance before breakdown occurs. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Provide lateral service within the hotel whenever needed. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

CANDIDATE PROFILE <\/p>\n
Basic hotel school diploma <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
2 year minimum experience working in a multicultural \/ 5 star hotel environment. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Multi skilled. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Experience in food and beverage or event field. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Speed and accuracy. (able to manage last minute activities) <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ability to handle luxury guest volumes on a daily basis. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Should be able to work under pressure in a customer service environment. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Must be flexible and ability to work long hours. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Creative and positive mind set. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Worked in different cultural environment. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
