You\u2019ll lead compliance calendars, filings, risk assessments, and internal controls, and partner with business\/finance to embed best-practice processes. Strong expertise in <b>CT\/VAT\/Excise <\/b> is essential; you\u2019ll <b>learn and expand <\/b> into AML\/CFT and Internal Audit with us. <\/p>\n<p><b>You have: <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5\u20138+ years in compliance\/tax within <b>FMCG <\/b> (must-have). <\/li>\n<li><b>Big 4 <\/b> experience (advisory or assurance) preferred. <\/li>\n<li>Professional qualification: <b>CA \/ ACCA \/ CPA <\/b>. <\/li>\n<li>Proven ownership of <b>CT\/VAT\/Excise <\/b> compliance, audits, and regulator interactions. <\/li>\n<li>Solid control mindset, policy drafting, and stakeholder management skills. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Skills <\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Key Skills Required <\/p>\n<p>1. <b>Technical Compliance &#038; Tax Skills <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of <b>Corporate Tax (CT), VAT, and Excise tax <\/b> frameworks in the UAE\/GCC. <\/li>\n<li>Understanding of <b>AML\/CFT regulations <\/b> and ability to build\/monitor controls. <\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with <b>Internal Audit frameworks <\/b>, risk assessments, and control testing. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret and apply regulatory updates, circulars, and authority guidance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. <b>Professional Expertise <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or CPA <\/b> qualification. <\/li>\n<li>Prior <b>Big 4 experience <\/b> in audit\/tax\/advisory. <\/li>\n<li>Industry exposure in <b>FMCG <\/b> \u2013 understanding supply chain, trading, and distribution complexities. <\/li>\n<li>Skilled in managing <b>tax filings, audits, reconciliations, and regulator queries <\/b>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. <b>Analytical &#038; Problem-Solving <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical skills to review compliance reports, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions. <\/li>\n<li>Risk assessment capability across finance, operations, and regulatory domains. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to link compliance findings to commercial\/operational impact. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>4. <b>Communication &#038; Stakeholder Management <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication for dealing with tax authorities, regulators, and internal teams. <\/li>\n<li>Drafting policies, compliance manuals, and audit reports clearly and precisely. <\/li>\n<li>Confidence in presenting compliance findings to senior management and the board. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>5. <b>Leadership &#038; Execution <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to <b>set up and lead a compliance calendar <\/b> (CT\/VAT\/Excise\/AML filings, audits, reviews). <\/li>\n<li>Team management or mentoring experience preferred. <\/li>\n<li>Strong ownership mindset with independence to drive compliance initiatives. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6. <b>Technology &#038;
