Activities of daily living e.g. hygiene needs are considered in daily care planning. <\/li>\n<li>Able to perform a preoperative nursing assessment of patients to formulate an appropriate nursing care plan. <\/li>\n<li>Collaborates effectively as a multidisciplinary team member with the anesthesia team in the sign-in process. <\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicates TIME OUT process and actively conducts correct patient identity, correct site, and correct procedure as a multidisciplinary team member before the first incision. <\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicates and conducts the SIGN OUT process as a multidisciplinary team member to ensure counts, equipment, and specimen are checked and labeled.
