On behalf of our client, a leading company in the hard commodity\/Industrial sector headquartered in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking an experienced Accountant \/ Senior Accountant. This role requires a highly qualified professional with strong technical expertise, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities under both international and UAE standards. <\/p>\n
Role overview: <\/b> <\/p>\n
Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable\/receivable, reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, provisions, and closing activities. <\/p>\n
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations. <\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to local (UAE) and international accounting standards, tax, and compliance requirements. <\/p>\n
Conduct cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting to support business operations and decision-making <\/p>\n
Supervise audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities <\/p>\n
Implement and enhance internal controls, policies, and financial procedures <\/p>\n
Provide financial analysis and reports to management for strategic planning. <\/p>\n
Skills <\/b> <\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. \u00b7 No prior experience in the hard commodity industry required. Strong understanding of financial principles and treasury concepts. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential. Russian is a strong add value. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. \u00b7 Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. \u00b7 Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
