Our operations extend across the entire East Coast of the UAE, with additional branches in Dubai. <\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a South Asian Gastroenterologist to join our team and work with patients to diagnose and treat various medical conditions related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver and pancreas. <\/p>\n<p>Gastroenterologist responsibilities include consulting with patients to understand their needs, performing various tests to diagnose patients, and performing endoscopic procedures. <\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, you will work with various medical professionals and directly with patients to treat various medical conditions and help them lead a healthier life. <\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility Criteria <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Higher Professional Degree \/ Specialty certificate recognized by Ministry of Health in relevant area of specialization. <\/li>\n<li>MD from an Accredited Medical School <\/li>\n<li>Board Certified or Board Eligible <\/li>\n<li>Able to perform ERCP. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Licensing Details <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Active DHA\/MOH\/DOH license as Specialist Gastroenterologist preferred. <\/li>\n<li>Candidates that have DHA\/MOH\/DOH eligibility or are going through the eligibility process, with a positive Dataflow report, are also eligible to apply. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u062e\u0628\u0631\u0629 <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of work experience since gaining higher qualification. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Roles &#038; Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Consulting with patients with complex ailments to understand their symptoms and health concerns. <\/li>\n<li>Diagnosing and treating complex medical illnesses as well as chronic diseases and conditions. <\/li>\n<li>Prescribing or administering medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. <\/li>\n<li>Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients. <\/li>\n<li>Monitoring patients\u2019 conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments as necessary. <\/li>\n<li>Providing health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. <\/li>\n<li>Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests and\/or treatments prescribed, and test results. <\/li>\n<li>Referring patients to other medical specialists, when necessary. <\/li>\n<li>Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care. <\/li>\n<li>Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary. <\/li>\n<li>Make diagnosis when different illnesses occur together or in situations where diagnosis may be obscure. <\/li>\n<li>Be available for providing expert opinion to junior colleagues to achieve a diagnosis or treatment goals. <\/li>\n<li>Direct and coordinate activities for nurses, assistants, specialists, and other medical staff by supervising medical care. <\/li>\n<li>Make efforts to bring new services to the hospital and department. <\/li>\n<li>Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs. <\/li>\n<li>Execute X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning. <\/li>\n<li>Perform surgery in the digestive tract. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Skill Requirements <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to perform ERCP. <\/li>\n<li>Expertise in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures. <\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with X-Rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning. <\/li>\n<li>Relevant training and\/or certifications as a Gastroenterologist. <\/li>\n<li>Leadership skills appropriate for a highly functioning clinical team. <\/li>\n<li>Outstanding patient management skills. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. <\/li>\n<li>Must be able to communicate in Urdu &#038;
