You will also be responsible for fitting patients for dentures braces and other orthodontic appliances. <\/p>\n<p>To be successful as an orthodontist you must have a desire to help people an interest in oral health and be able to provide exceptional patient care. <\/p>\n<h3>Orthodontist Responsibilities: <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Using various diagnostic tests to determine the condition of patients teeth. <\/li>\n<li>Studying patient records including dental histories plaster models of teeth and X-rays to develop treatment plans for patients. <\/li>\n<li>Discussing treatment plans and cost estimates with patients. <\/li>\n<li>Treating occlusion issues and other oral conditions. <\/li>\n<li>Instructing assistants on orthodontic procedures and techniques. <\/li>\n<li>Collaborating with other specialists such as dentists and oral surgeons to coordinate orthodontic services within the overall treatment plan. <\/li>\n<li>Fitting patients for various orthodontic appliances. <\/li>\n<li>Scheduling regular checkups with patients to make adjustments to orthodontic appliances such as tightening braces and tracking patient progress. <\/li>\n<li>Educating patients about on-going orthodontic care and explaining proper oral hygiene methods for good oral health. <\/li>\n<li>Providing referrals to other professionals such as oral surgeons when needed. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Orthodontist Requirements: <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors degree in biology chemistry or a related field. <\/li>\n<li>Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree or a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. <\/li>\n<li>Further studies in orthodontics accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA). <\/li>\n<li>Member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). <\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of various molds and orthodontic appliances. <\/li>\n<li>Experience using hand tools (periodontal scalers band pluggers cutters pliers) and diagnostic tools (digital X-rays 3D images). <\/li>\n<li>Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination. <\/li>\n<li>Outstanding patient management skills. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #J-18808-Ljbffr<\/p>\n<p>2025-12-15 11:05:01<\/p>","protected":false},"author":100,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","job_listing_type":[68],"job_listing_category":[1351],"job_listing_location":[720],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-59775","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job_listing_type-full-time","job_listing_category-bio-pharmacology-health","job_listing_location-united-arab-emirates"],"metas":{"_job_featured_image":"","_job_featured":"","_job_filled":"","_job_urgent":"","_job_category":{"1351":"Bio &amp;
