About Hypersignals <\/b> <\/h3>\n

Hypersignals is building a perpetual trading platform focused on execution, transparency, and reliability. <\/p>\n

The product is social and signal-driven, with live positions and real-time trade replication. The technical challenge is building systems that remain fast and correct under load and during market volatility. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re early-stage and technical by default. There\u2019s no legacy stack, no bloated roadmap, and no separation between \u201cproduct\u201d and \u201cengineering.\u201d The goal is to build a small, highly capable team that can ship and operate serious trading infrastructure from first principles. <\/p>\n

The Role <\/b> <\/h3>\n

We\u2019re hiring a Founding CTO to take full ownership of Hypersignals\u2019 technical foundation. <\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be the first senior technical hire and responsible for how the system is designed, built, and run in production. This is not a management\u2011only role \u2014 you\u2019ll be writing critical code, reviewing every major system decision, and setting the standard for how engineering operates. <\/p>\n

You\u2019ll work directly with the founder day\u2011to\u2011day. Decisions are fast, scope is real, and priorities will change as we learn. The expectation is that you\u2019re comfortable operating with ambiguity, making trade\u2011offs, and taking responsibility when things break. <\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve built or operated trading systems before and want end\u2011to\u2011end ownership rather than a narrow slice, this role is designed for that. <\/p>\n

What You\u2019ll Be Doing <\/b> <\/h3>\n

You\u2019ll define and own the end\u2011to\u2011end technical roadmap for Hypersignals. <\/p>\n

This includes: <\/p>\n

    \n
  • Translating product vision into system architecture, technical milestones, and execution plans <\/li>\n
  • Architecting and building real\u2011time, low\u2011latency trading infrastructure, including:\n
      \n
    • Order routing and execution <\/li>\n
    • Risk checks and safeguards <\/li>\n
    • Trade mirroring and execution guarantees <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Designing and evolving core platform systems for:\n
        \n
      • Live positions and PnL tracking <\/li>\n
      • Real\u2011time feeds and event\u2011driven workflows <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Owning production infrastructure and reliability:\n
          \n
        • Cloud architecture and deployment <\/li>\n
        • CI\/CD, monitoring, and incident response <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Making high\u2011stakes trade\u2011offs around performance, correctness, and user safety, particularly during periods of extreme market volatility <\/li>\n
        • Partnering directly with the founder on:\n
            \n
          • Product prioritisation and sequencing <\/li>\n
          • Build vs buy decisions <\/li>\n
          • Long\u2011term technical bets <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Building and leading the engineering organisation, including:\n
              \n
            • Hiring early engineers <\/li>\n
            • Mentoring and coaching <\/li>\n
            • Defining engineering culture, standards, and ways of working <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              What We\u2019re Looking For: <\/b> <\/h3>\n
                \n
              • 7+ years of backend engineering experience <\/li>\n
              • Direct experience building trading, exchange, or financial systems <\/li>\n
              • Strong understanding of:\n
                  \n
                • Order books, matching engines, and execution flows <\/li>\n
                • Risk management and margin systems <\/li>\n
                • Latency\u2011sensitive architectures <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                • Experience running real\u2011time production systems <\/li>\n
                • Solid DevOps background:\n
                    \n
                  • AWS or GCP <\/li>\n
                  • Docker and Kubernetes <\/li>\n
                  • CI\/CD and monitoring <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
