Perform and interpret diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures (e.g., PET-CT, SPECT, bone scans, cardiac scans, thyroid scans). <\/p>\n
Provide radionuclide therapy (e.g., I-131 therapy, Lu-177 DOTATATE, Ra-223). <\/p>\n
Supervise and ensure quality assurance in radiopharmaceutical preparation and imaging protocols. <\/p>\n
Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss case findings, diagnosis, and treatment options. <\/p>\n
Oversee technologists, residents, and other junior medical staff, ensuring best practices in nuclear medicine procedures. <\/p>\n
Maintain up-to-date records, reports, and documentation in the hospital\u2019s health information system. <\/p>\n
Participate in continuous professional development, teaching, and clinical research as part of SEHA\u2019s academic initiatives. <\/p>\n
Ensure radiation safety standards are strictly followed by staff and patients. <\/p>\n
Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to comprehensive patient management. <\/p>\n
Adhere to SEHA\u2019s policies, protocols, and clinical governance framework. <\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications: <\/b> <\/p>\n
Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution. <\/p>\n
Residency and fellowship in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized training program. <\/p>\n
Board Certification in Nuclear Medicine (e.g., CCT UK, ABNM, FRCR with Nuclear Medicine specialization, or equivalent). <\/p>\n
Valid DOH (Department of Health \u2013 Abu Dhabi) Consultant License in Nuclear Medicine or eligibility to obtain it. <\/p>\n
