You\u2019ll not only have the chance to drive significant impact from protecting Coinbase, you\u2019ll also leverage machine learning to make our product delightful by adding intelligence to recommendations, risk, chatbots and much more.<\/p><p><strong>What you\u2019ll be doing<\/strong>:<\/p><ul>\n<li><p>Explore and leverage state of the art machine learning techniques viz. deep learning, LLMs, graph neural networks, for a variety of problems across the company including fraud, feed ranking, recommendations and targeting, chatbots, blockchain mining. <\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Build and launch excellent productionalized, low-maintenance applied Machine Learning integrations.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Build onboarding codelabs, tools and infrastructure for ML to democratize access to ML across Coinbase.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul><p><strong>What we look for in you<\/strong>:<\/p><ul>\n<li><p>5+yrs of industry experience as a machine learning and software engineer<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Experience building backend systems at scale with a focus on data processing\/machine learning\/analytics.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Experience with at least one ML model: Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting trees, Deep learning, etc. <\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Working knowledge in one or more of the following: data mining, information retrieval, advanced statistics or natural language processing, computer vision.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Exhibit our core cultural values: add positive energy, communicate clearly, be curious, and be a builder.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul><p><strong>Nice to haves<\/strong>:<\/p><ul>\n<li><p>BS, MS, PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, or related technical field.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Spark, Flink, Kafka\/Kinesis, Snowflake, Hadoop, Hive.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><h3>Experience with Python.<\/h3><\/li>\n<li><p>Experience with model interpretability, responsible AI.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Experience with data analysis and visualization.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul><div class=\"content-conclusion\">\n<h3>Commitment to Equal Opportunity<\/h3>\n<p>Coinbase is committed to diversity in its workforce and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
