We build, support, enhance and maintain the Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) hypervisor in the Linux kernel.<\/p>\n
Our work powers the virtual machine fleet in Google Compute Engine and contributes to advancing the virtualization technology, from new approaches to security and confidentiality all the way to minimizing disruption for our most advanced AI\/ML customer workloads.<\/p>\n
We collaborate on new hardware platforms on both x86 and ARM, engage with CPU vendors, and actively participate in the kernel community, internally and upstream.<\/p>\n

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
