Our mission is to build the ‘Nerve Center’ for Google’s next-generation, intent-driven Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). We own the critical developer-facing surfaces\u2014including Nexus, Cider-V, Boq Studio, and the Boq\/Pod CLIs and contribute to Basecamp, the nextgen UI to drive agents that will help you with any task related to the SDLC.<\/p>\n
By developing Basecamp, we are pioneering a shift from manual task execution to agentic orchestration, enabling developers to lead a ‘workforce’ of specialized AI agents that handle complex, long-running outcomes across the entire application lifecycle.<\/p>\n
The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google\u2019s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer.
