Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/h3>\n

High School (GED) required<\/h3>\n

RHIA, RHIT, and\/or CCS Certification required<\/p>\n

Minimum 3 years experience in medical record coding required<\/p>\n

Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology required<\/p>\n

Windows applications, Outlook, WebEx and other apps as needed to perform role<\/p>\n

Cooperates well with others<\/h3>\n

Competent attention to detail and accuracy<\/p>\n

Proficient with computer use and software applications<\/p>\n

Ability to concentrate on task at hand in open distracting environment independent manner; minimizing distractions in private work-from-home space<\/p>\n

Ability to apply local, state, and federal coding guidelines with attention to detail.<\/p>\n
