JOB TITLE: LITIGATION MANAGER<\/strong><\/p>\n

 This position is remote but we are ONLY considering resumes of candidates residing in the state of Texas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Litigation Manager is responsible for overseeing claims in active litigation and\/or files that require the guidance of counsel on an as-needed basis.  <\/span>This role supervises litigation adjusters, manages defense counsel, ensures compliance with legal deadlines, and controls legal expenses while driving effective claim resolution strategies.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u0627\u0644\u0645\u062a\u0637\u0644\u0628\u0627\u062a<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum 10 years of experience <\/strong>handling attorney represented BI and PD claims<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>5-7 years Litigation Management experience<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Licensed in Texas<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to obtain licenses in other states as needed<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to travel within the state on an occasional basis as business needs require<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Supervise 5 Litigation Adjusters (monitor diary management, provide authority, discuss strategy)<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Keep a diary on each file assigned to a Lit adj and manage the diary<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Review and process subpoenas<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Review incoming lawsuits<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assign new lawsuits<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist with monitoring files for service and\/or request for defense (includes monitoring for outcome of motion for default judgment)<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Assist other units as needed<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage defense counsel<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage legal expenses<\/p>\n

–          <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prepare detailed reports regarding trial activity, extra-contractual exposure, and other litigation-related matters as deemed necessary<\/p>\n
