The role requires a strong technical background in electrical systems instrumentation control and automation with hands\u2011on experience in PLC and SCADA systems used in water and wastewater facilities. <\/p>\n<h3>Job Duties <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive experience in supervising electrical and ICA works for STP pumping stations and infrastructure projects within the UAE. <\/li>\n<li>In\u2011depth knowledge of DEWA, Dubai Municipality and other relevant standards and specifications for electrical and control systems. <\/li>\n<li>Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical works (LV\/MV) instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA telemetry systems and control panels. <\/li>\n<li>Review and approve contractor submittals including shop drawings, ITPs, FAT\/SAT procedures, SCADA architecture and communication protocols. <\/li>\n<li>Provide technical oversight for the integration of PLC and SCADA systems including programming logic verification and interface testing with field instruments. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure QA\/QC compliance by developing and enforcing inspection and test plans for electrical and ICA works. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor site inspections and evaluate inspector performance ensuring works are executed as per project specifications and standards. <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the head office design team for resolution of technical queries and review of material submittals. <\/li>\n<li>Update progress of all assigned works to the Resident Engineer\/Project Manager for inclusion in project reports. <\/li>\n<li>Review and verify red\u2011line markups and as\u2011built documentation for all electrical and ICA systems. <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate between electrical, mechanical and ICA systems during commissioning and start\u2011up phases. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain effective communication with the client contractor and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution and integration of automation systems. <\/li>\n<li>Lead and mentor junior staff and inspectors promoting a culture of safety, quality and technical excellence. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical and ICA supervision including PLC and SCADA systems with a focus on STP and infrastructure projects. <\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Control Systems Engineering (preferred). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About AECOM <\/h3>\n<p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
