To meet this goal Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best\u2011in\u2011class experience through the introduction of pioneering new products and services in the last mile arena. <\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a dynamic, organized self\u2011starter to join as a Payment Program Manager for the Last Mile team supporting a new and exciting last\u2011mile channel. <\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Business Coach (BC) On the Road (OTR) Central Operations (CO) ACES and DSP Program Managers in a fast\u2011paced last\u2011mile organization. This person will provide hands\u2011on support to ensure accounts are set up accurately, ensure accurate payments are processed on time while managing invoice queries and exceptions, and also achieve WW parity in terms of processes and technology. <\/p>\n<p>You will dive deep into the system to understand the payment process, bank information, invoice data, and classification per business needs in order to identify payment issues and root causes.  You will play a key part in understanding, analyzing and improving the different reasons behind a payment failure and support building a robust logic to identify areas of improvement as well as prevention of future issues. <\/p>\n<h3>Key job responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide best\u2011in\u2011class support ensuring Last Mile account creation is established in a timely manner <\/li>\n<li>Setting up payment processes unique to the Last Mile Channel <\/li>\n<li>Achieve WW parity in terms of processes and tech <\/li>\n<li>Execute financial reviews for DSP partners across MENA <\/li>\n<li>Deal with supplier\u2011related issues and see them through to satisfactory completion <\/li>\n<li>Interpret commercial contracts and understand how they apply to an invoice <\/li>\n<li>Understand the 3\u2011way matching process and finance policies around resolutions <\/li>\n<li>Maintain accuracy with costs flowing within the General Ledger to ensure correct accounting treatment of all costs incurred <\/li>\n<li>Set up new accounts in procure\u2011to\u2011pay systems <\/li>\n<li>Partner with Finance Program and Account Management functions and 3rd\u2011party vendors supplying services to ensure on\u2011boarding and payments are executed timely <\/li>\n<li>Support and resolve invoice queries within internal SLAs <\/li>\n<li>Track metrics and provide reports to leaders <\/li>\n<li>Proactive in suggesting process improvement to payment\/invoicing processes <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>A day in the life <\/h3>\n<p>The Payments PM will manage the daily payments SOPs, drive issue resolution through stakeholder management and influencing, and generate reports, probing their accuracy by defining clear mechanisms for data collection and reporting. They will partner with the ACES OPS Finance and BC teams to define root causes of payment challenges and work cross\u2011functionally to resolve them through sustainable and scalable solutions. <\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of program or project management experience <\/li>\n<li>3+ years of working cross\u2011functionally with tech and non\u2011tech teams <\/li>\n<li>3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics <\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree <\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL <\/li>\n<li>Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements <\/li>\n<li>3+ years of driving end\u2011to\u2011end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership <\/li>\n<li>3+ years of driving process improvements <\/li>\n<li>Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization <\/li>\n<li>Experience building processes, project management, and schedules <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
