The Scoop on the Role: <\/p>\n

This role involves closely collaborating with stakeholders to design, deploy, maintain, and monitor live services and the underlying network infrastructure. As a Principal Network Architect, you’ll focus on architecting, deploying, and operating cloud-based GRC and HRIS services and SaaS products, ensuring the security and connectivity of critical operations processes. <\/p>\n

The role’s areas of focus: <\/p>\n

  1. Architectural Leadership: <\/b> Lead the creation of advanced network architectures and designs within a team of technical leads. <\/li>\n
  2. Technology Evaluation: <\/b> Proactively evaluate and assess new networking technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities. <\/li>\n
  3. Technical Standards: <\/b> Develop technical solutions and establish standards, policies, and procedures for network infrastructure. <\/li>\n
  4. Infrastructure Management: <\/b> Manage cloud network resources, application flows, and security elements as code, integrated into the CI\/CD pipeline. <\/li>\n
  5. Automation: <\/b> Automate workloads using tools and services like Microsoft Azure and AWS. <\/li>\n
  6. Security Compliance: <\/b> Implement security policies with a risk-based approach to ensure GDPR and InfoSec compliance. <\/li>\n
  7. Security Collaboration: <\/b> Work with the security team to implement best practices for cloud network security. <\/li>\n
  8. Agile Participation: <\/b> Participate in Agile Scrum standups supporting software deployment to secure cloud networks. <\/li>\n
  9. Monitoring Solutions: <\/b> Implement monitoring solutions for network infrastructure across multiple clouds, using open-source tools like Grafana. <\/li>\n
  10. Vendor Management: <\/b> Act as the primary interface with third-party network and security vendors for Grouper. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The ideal candidate will have: <\/p>\n

      \n
    • Experience or certification in Azure WAF, Checkpoint NGFW, NGINX\/F5 API Management & NGINX App Protect Web Application Firewall. <\/li>\n
    • Experience with IT governance standards and frameworks such as ITIL, PCI, SOC. <\/li>\n
    • Extensive experience in network architecture for microservice APIs. <\/li>\n
    • Scripting skills in Python, Ansible, Azure DevOps, or Terraform. <\/li>\n
    • Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence. <\/li>\n
    • Linux shell scripting expertise. <\/li>\n
    • Experience with git repositories. <\/li>\n
    • Strong communication and documentation skills. <\/li>\n
    • Experience with load balancer design, SSL termination, and application\/solution design. <\/li>\n
    • Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, CISSP, or similar are desirable. <\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of advanced traffic management, including JWT\/OIDC and third-party identity provider integration. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      We are looking for someone who: <\/p>\n

      • Possesses a Microsoft MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification or similar. <\/li>\n
      • Is proactive, security-conscious, and results-driven. <\/li>\n
      • Holds an advanced degree (preferred). <\/li>\n
      • Has experience working in agile, Scrum environments. <\/li>\n
      • Holds certifications in cloud technologies like Azure and AWS. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
