business strategy and positioning of the Minor Hotels brand and that you are able to effectively articulate this positioning in the marketplace. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain a personal uptodate knowledge on all Minor Hotels product and service offerings and the products services rates and new developments of key competitors and an awareness of general industry trends. <\/li>\n<li>Approach personal sales activities from a strategic perspective understanding the relative importance and priority of the current account base and directing personal sales efforts accordingly. <\/li>\n<li>Continually review the actual production of each account against the potential for that account and review suggestions for improvement with department leadership. <\/li>\n<li>Focus on assertively establishing new client contacts and developing detailed information on the potential revenues from these accounts. <\/li>\n<li>Achieve personal financial and nonfinancial performance objectives working with department leadership to ensure these objectives are met. <\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for your own professional development ensuring that you have the financial literacy negotiation and facetoface selling skills needed to successfully do your job. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate management status reporting on business results and Team Member action planning. <\/li>\n<li>Practice effective cost control and adhere to internal procedures for approval of expenditure <\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in client familiarization trips site inspections sales trips and roadshows as required to meet the sales targets of the hotel. <\/li>\n<li>Liaise effectively with all operational colleagues providing support and information to ensure accurate delivery of our promise <\/li>\n<li>Drive opportunities to upsell and crosssell Minor Hotels products <\/li>\n<li>Maintain a full working knowledge of the IT support tools used in the world of sales today including salesspecific software property PMS the Microsoft Office toolset <\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all administration is processed quickly and efficiently. <\/li>\n<li>Keeping Opera updated with activities on time. <\/li>\n<li>Prepare the monthly sales report in line with property requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Attend Owners meetings as required. <\/li>\n<li>Look at potential property buyout agreements. <\/li>\n<li>Focus on Product launches and bespoke meetings and incentives. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 35years sales experience in a 5star hotel with 1 years plus at the manager level <\/li>\n<li>Bachelors degree in any related field <\/li>\n<li>Good command of spoken and written English <\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Express Internet email) <\/li>\n<li>Positive
