A prestigious hospital in Dubai <\/b> is seeking an experienced CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) Manager <\/b> to oversee and manage sterilization operations <\/b> within the hospital. This role ensures that all surgical instruments and medical equipment <\/b> are properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized and stored <\/b> in compliance with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) and JCIA (Joint Commission International Accreditation) standards <\/b>. <\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of infection control and expertise in CSSD best practices <\/b> ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance. <\/p>\n

  1. Department Management & Operations\n
      \n
    • Oversee the cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and storage <\/b> of surgical instruments and medical equipment. <\/li>\n
    • Ensure strict compliance <\/b> with infection control protocols, hospital policies and accreditation standards. <\/li>\n
    • Develop and implement SOPs <\/b> for CSSD operations. <\/li>\n
    • Maintain proper documentation and traceability <\/b> of all sterilized items. <\/li>\n
    • Coordinate with different hospital departments <\/b> to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments. <\/li>\n
    • Supervise the maintenance and functionality <\/b> of sterilization equipment including autoclaves and washer\u2011disinfectors <\/b>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Staff Supervision & Training\n
        \n
      • Lead and manage the CSSD team <\/b> including technicians and support staff <\/b>. <\/li>\n
      • Provide training and continuous education <\/b> on sterilization techniques, infection control and safety protocols. <\/li>\n
      • Conduct staff performance evaluations <\/b> and address any performance gaps. <\/li>\n
      • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork and professional development <\/b>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Compliance & Quality Assurance\n
          \n
        • Ensure full compliance with DHA, JCIA and other regulatory standards <\/b>. <\/li>\n
        • Conduct internal audits <\/b> to assess and improve sterilization processes. <\/li>\n
        • Monitor and maintain records of biological, chemical and physical sterilization tests <\/b>. <\/li>\n
        • Implement risk management strategies <\/b> and ensure adherence to infection control measures. <\/li>\n
        • Stay updated with new technologies and advancements in sterilization techniques <\/b>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Inventory & Budget Management\n
            \n
          • Monitor and manage inventory <\/b> of sterile supplies and ensure optimal stock levels <\/b>. <\/li>\n
          • Coordinate with procurement teams <\/b> for the purchase of sterilization equipment and supplies. <\/li>\n
          • Ensure cost\u2011effective utilization of resources <\/b> while maintaining quality standards. <\/li>\n
          • Manage departmental budgets and expenditures <\/b> efficiently. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Candidate Requirements <\/h3>\n

            • Education & Certification <\/b>
              – Bachelors degree in Nursing, Microbiology or Healthcare Management (preferred).
              – Certification in Sterile Processing (e.g. CBSPD, IAHCSMM) Mandatory. <\/li>\n
            • \u0627\u0644\u062e\u0628\u0631\u0629 <\/b>
              – 57 years of experience in CSSD operations with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
              – Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, sterilization techniques and hospital quality standards.
              – Familiarity with DHA regulations and JCIA accreditation requirements.
              – Experience with hospital management systems and sterilization tracking software. <\/li>\n
