Our mandate is to advance research, nurture the next generation of AI builders, and drive transformative contributions to a knowledge-driven economy. <\/p>\n<p>As part of our team, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to work on the core of cutting\u2011edge foundation model training, alongside world\u2011class researchers, data scientists, and engineers, tackling the most fundamental and impactful challenges in AI development. Strategic and innovative problem\u2011solving skills will be instrumental in establishing MBZUAI as a global hub for high\u2011performance computing in deep learning, driving impactful discoveries that inspire the next generation of AI pioneers. <\/p>\n<h3>The Role <\/h3>\n<p>You will own the end\u2011to\u2011end strategy, design, and delivery of our general\u2011purpose world modeling efforts. You\u2019ll translate cutting\u2011edge research (e.g., the PAN framework) into robust, production\u2011ready simulators, guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists, and ensure alignment with IFM\u2019s mission. <\/p>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0647\u0627\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0633\u0627\u0633\u064a\u0629 <\/h3>\n<h3>Technical Leadership &#038; Vision <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Define and evolve the overall world model architecture, drawing on the PAN principles:\n<ol>\n<li>Multimodal data ingestion <\/li>\n<li>Mixed continuous\/discrete representations <\/li>\n<li>Hierarchical generative modeling with an enhanced LLM backbone and diffusion\u2011based predictors <\/li>\n<li>Generative loss grounded in real observations <\/li>\n<li>Simulation for RL\u2011based agent training <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Establish performance, safety, and evaluation benchmarks, driving continuous improvement. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Project &#038; Team Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee planning, resourcing, and timeline for world model projects. <\/li>\n<li>Manage research engineers and scientists (e.g., data curators, RL experts, simulator devs) to achieve unified progress. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cross\u2011Functional Collaboration <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with agent, reasoning, and deployment teams to integrate world model outputs into downstream applications (robotics, multi\u2011turn dialogue, autonomous systems). <\/li>\n<li>Liaise with external collaborators (academia &#038;
