This senior leadership role is responsible for strengthening first-line governance, operational resilience, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across Health, Life, Motor, Marine, Aviation, and broader P&#038;C portfolios. <\/p>\n<p>The role plays a critical part in supporting business scale and multi-line expansion while ensuring strong operational discipline, customer experience, and regulatory alignment. Controls <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead enterprise-wide Non-Financial Risk Assessments (NFRAs) across all lines of business. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor the design and effectiveness of operational and regulatory controls, ensuring timely remediation of gaps. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee quarterly control testing cycles, maintaining audit readiness and regulatory documentation. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure operational risk events are identified, reported, investigated, escalated, and closed within agreed SLAs. <\/li>\n<li>Own first-line governance for operational risk in collaboration with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee the development, testing, and maintenance of <b>Business Continuity Plans (BCP) <\/b>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Quality Assurance &#038; Continuous Improvement <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the enterprise Quality Assurance (QA) framework across all operational teams. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistency in quality standards, sampling methodologies, and review practices. <\/li>\n<li>Drive root\u2011cause analysis and corrective action plans arising from QA findings. <\/li>\n<li>Lead transformation, automation, and process optimization initiatives aligned with operational KPIs. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Financial Crime &#038; Regulatory Oversight (First Line) <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee centralized alert management covering <b>KYC, Sanctions, PEPs, Transaction Monitoring, FATCA, and CRS <\/b>. <\/li>\n<li>Act as Operations SME for FATCA\/CRS onboarding, classification, documentation, and reporting readiness. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure <b>PCI-DSS compliance <\/b> across all payment touchpoints and successful annual certification. <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate first-line implementation of regulatory changes in partnership with Compliance, Risk, and Legal. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure operational adherence to AML\/KYC, CBUAE conduct rules, health authority regulations, and sector\u2011specific mandates across all LOBs. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Complaints Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the complaints management framework across customer, broker, and corporate segments. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor complaints performance, turnaround times, and regulatory compliance. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure complaints insights drive service improvements, control enhancements, and better customer outcomes. <\/li>\n<li>Own governance standards that elevate customer experience across all lines of business. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Leadership &#038; Stakeholder Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop the Operational Risk, Controls &#038; Quality team. <\/li>\n<li>Act as business lead for selection and enhancement of department IT systems. <\/li>\n<li>Manage departmental budget and resource planning. <\/li>\n<li>Support product and sales cycles from tender stage through onboarding. <\/li>\n<li>Deputize senior operations leadership as required and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Key Requirements <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in <b>business administration, Risk Management, Compliance <\/b>, or a related discipline. <\/li>\n<li><b>8\u201312 years of experience <\/b> in operational risk, internal controls, quality assurance, or compliance within insurance or financial services. <\/li>\n<li>Strong experience across <b>multiple insurance lines of business <\/b> (Health, Life, P&#038;C preferred). <\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of UAE insurance regulations, control frameworks, and governance standards. <\/li>\n<li>Prior exposure to regulatory audits, risk reviews, and operational readiness assessments. <\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to build and embed effective first\u2011line control environments. <\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical ability with high attention to detail. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated success leading cross\u2011functional initiatives in fast\u2011paced, scaling environments. <\/li>\n<li>High integrity, accountability, and a customer\u2011centric mindset. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #J-18808-Ljbffr<\/p>\n<p>2026-03-27 08:37:35<\/p>","protected":false},"author":100,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","job_listing_type":[68],"job_listing_category":[1367],"job_listing_location":[720],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-77124","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job_listing_type-full-time","job_listing_category-management-operations-engineering","job_listing_location-united-arab-emirates"],"metas":{"_job_featured_image":"","_job_featured":"","_job_filled":"","_job_urgent":"","_job_category":{"1367":"Management &amp;
