We are looking for a dynamic and accomplished Finance Manager who can generate actionable insights and develop tools and mechanisms that will equip our teams to drive growth and profitability. <\/p>\n<h3>Key Job Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build review routines with the local business, including roll\u2011out and training on related tools <\/li>\n<li>Own and develop robust mechanisms to inspect growth and profitability of our business, working closely with related business teams <\/li>\n<li>Establish controllership and approval mechanisms to manage day\u2011to\u2011day profitability <\/li>\n<li>Invent, simplify, and automate management reporting, working closely with owners in business and Business Intelligence teams across the Amazon world <\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic guidance, tactical direction, and decision support to business and finance partners <\/li>\n<li>Lead key analytical projects and contribute to reviews that influence senior leadership decision making <\/li>\n<li>Develop financial plans for both short and long\u2011term planning exercises, aligning inputs with senior stakeholders worldwide <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Building financial and operational analysis to drive and influence data\u2011driven senior leadership decisions <\/li>\n<li>Use a range of metrics and models to forecast, link operational objectives to financials, and determine opportunities for improvement <\/li>\n<li>Business partner cross\u2011functionally with key senior stakeholders, providing finance support and challenge <\/li>\n<li>Lead projects by overseeing timelines, priorities, auditing quality and resolving issues <\/li>\n<li>Produce a financial and operational plan to support business priorities, and lead on associated projects <\/li>\n<li>Generate insights from financial data, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, and communicate findings with the leadership team to drive business actions <\/li>\n<li>Support with training new team members and contribute to onboarding plans <\/li>\n<li>Maintain and build tools for your team to support knowledge sharing and help to standardize processes across teams <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>A Day in the Life <\/h3>\n<p>As a Finance Manager at this level, you take a hands\u2011on role to boost our business performance and efficiency. You establish tight controls over our financials and develop a deep understanding of the mechanics behind our data, ensuring financial reporting is always accurate. You\u2019ll collaborate with partners in different areas worldwide to provide insights on improvements in our operational performance. Brace yourself for a steep learning curve that promises both exhilaration and immense satisfaction, as you embark on a journey to craft something truly unique. <\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience <\/li>\n<li>8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience <\/li>\n<li>6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience <\/li>\n<li>6+ years of building financial and operational reports\/data sets that inform business decision\u2011making experience <\/li>\n<li>6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience <\/li>\n<li>6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience <\/li>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor&#8217;s degree and 8+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re\u2011engineering, quality assurance) experience <\/li>\n<li>6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating\/implementing an escalation plan experience <\/li>\n<li>6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience <\/li>\n<li>MBA, or CPA <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SQL\/ETL <\/li>\n<li>Experience working with large\u2011scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) <\/li>\n<li>Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
