Currently we are looking for a <b>Operations &#038; Maintenance General Manager, <\/b> for an ambitious project: an Independent Sewage Treatment Plant and strategic water networks project, located in <b>UAE <\/b>. <\/p>\n<p>Are you ready to take the next step in your O&#038;M career? We are looking for you! <\/p>\n<h3>Mission <\/h3>\n<p>Reporting to the Project Company General Manager, you will oversee the technical and construction aspects of the project throughout the EPC (Engineering, Procurement &#038; Construction) phase. Your primary goal is to ensure the project meets contractual performance requirements for operation and maintenance, enabling a seamless transition to the operational stage. <\/p>\n<p>After the EPC phase, your responsibilities shift to include overall operational management of the Project during the operation stage. <\/p>\n<h3>What you\u2019ll be doing <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>During EPC Phase: Lead and coordinate all technical activities of the EPC project stage with the full support of a dedicated Owner\u2019s Engineer team. <\/li>\n<li>Review design documents (P&#038;IDs, process flow diagrams, O&#038;M manuals) for compliance with operational requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning stage or ensure these tests are properly supervised and validated. <\/li>\n<li>Cooperate with the Human Resources department to recruit the operation team as per the needs and within budget constraints <\/li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and expertise on STP processes (biological treatment, chemical dosing, sludge management, etc.). <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Operation Phase <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Ensure smooth and efficient operation of sewage treatment plant and the other project components. <\/li>\n<li>Supervise daily plant activities, including inlet facilities, treatment process, sludge management, and effluent discharge as well as the HSE. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor process parameters and optimize treatment efficiency. <\/li>\n<li>Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. <\/li>\n<li>Manage annual O&#038;M budgets, optimize cost-efficiency, and ensure financial reporting. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>What we\u2019re looking for <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in environmental\/chemical\/civil\/mechanical engineering. <\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10+ years of total professional experience. <\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 6 years in the operation of wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure such as networks and pumping station. <\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing EPC projects from design to commissioning. <\/li>\n<li>Preferable GCC Experience. <\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of STP technologies and good backup with EPC project lifecycle, commissioning, and handover processes. <\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English written and spoken. <\/li>\n<li>Arabic is not mandatory, but is considered as a plus. <\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of UAE local authority processes and EHS standards <\/li>\n<li>Technical and Operational Expertise <\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder &#038;
