{"id":77922,"date":"2026-04-13T16:38:04","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T12:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/herecareers.com\/job\/business-unit-manager\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T16:38:05","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T12:38:05","slug":"business-unit-manager","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/herecareers.com\/ar\/job\/business-unit-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Unit Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>411_3178292<\/p>\n<p><p>We are looking for a highly motivated and seasoned <b>Business Unit Manager <\/b> to drive sales through business development and sales force management, ensuring that current customers are getting the right services, identifying new markets and customer leads, and pitching prospective customers. <\/p>\n<h3>Business Unit Manager Duties and Key Responsibilities: <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts with full P&#038;L, and follow with HQ and direct manager on achieving approved targets. <\/li>\n<li>Suggest and implement business strategies to achieve financial targets agreed upon with upper management. <\/li>\n<li>Innovate and introduce new business lines in coordination with global COO ensuring diversity in portfolio and business activities. <\/li>\n<li>Develop sales plans to expand the units customer base and acquire bigger market share Onboard existing and new clients based on UAE market experience. <\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, vendors, other stakeholders to gain bargaining power. <\/li>\n<li>Expand the unit to 5 salespersons during the 1st year. <\/li>\n<li>Diversify the team profile based on verticals, lines of service, geographical coverage, and trade lanes. <\/li>\n<li>Manage the team from hiring, training, and performance management, in accordance with local labor laws and internal HR guidance. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee the day-to-day operations of the unit, including sales, customer service, and freight management. <\/li>\n<li>Create reports (financial and operational) that allow to track and measure team performance. <\/li>\n<li>Support in creating SOPs per client in coordination with quality assurance department. <\/li>\n<li>Follow closely on operations and customer service standards from lead generation to post-sale follows. <\/li>\n<li>Act as main point of contact for high level pricing and contracts problem solving. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Business Unit Manager Skills and Qualifications: <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>BA in Logistics, Supply chain, Management, Business management, or a relevant field. <\/li>\n<li>12+ years of experience in operations or sales role within freight forwarding with previous management and supervisory roles. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities, Solid analytical, critical thinking, detail orientation, and communication skills. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of English, any other language is a plus. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> #J-18808-Ljbffr<\/p>\n<p>2026-03-27 08:34:31<\/p>","protected":false},"author":100,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","job_listing_type":[68],"job_listing_category":[1347],"job_listing_location":[720],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":["post-77922","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job_listing_type-full-time","job_listing_category-management-operations","job_listing_location-united-arab-emirates"],"metas":{"_job_featured_image":"","_job_featured":"","_job_filled":"","_job_urgent":"","_job_category":{"1347":"Management &amp;
