A prestigious hospital in Dubai <\/b> is seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager <\/b> to oversee patient experience, admissions, discharge processes, and overall service quality <\/b>. This role ensures that patients receive efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care <\/b> by managing patient flow, addressing concerns, and implementing customer service excellence strategies <\/b>. <\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical teams, administrative staff, and hospital leadership <\/b> to enhance patient satisfaction while ensuring compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Joint Commission International (JCI) standards <\/b>. <\/p>\n

  • Ensure effective communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers <\/b>. <\/li>\n
  • Address and resolve patient complaints and grievances <\/b> professionally and efficiently. <\/li>\n
  • Oversee the admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) processes <\/b> for efficiency and accuracy. <\/li>\n
  • Ensure smooth bed management and coordination <\/b> between departments to reduce wait times. <\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with nursing, medical, and administrative teams <\/b> to enhance patient flow. <\/li>\n
  • Optimize discharge planning <\/b> by coordinating with case management and support services. <\/li>\n
  • Develop strategies to reduce patient wait times and enhance service delivery efficiency <\/b>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

    • Ensure compliance with DHA, JCI, and other regulatory bodies’ requirements <\/b> for patient services. <\/li>\n
    • Maintain proper documentation, records, and service quality metrics <\/b> in accordance with regulations. <\/li>\n
    • Participate in hospital audits, inspections, and accreditation processes <\/b> related to patient care. <\/li>\n
    • Implement patient rights and responsibilities <\/b> policies in line with UAE healthcare laws. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Staff Training & Development: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

      • Train and supervise patient service representatives, receptionists, and front-desk staff <\/b>. <\/li>\n
      • Conduct customer service training <\/b> to ensure professionalism and empathy in patient interactions. <\/li>\n
      • Foster a culture of patient-first service excellence and continuous improvement <\/b>. <\/li>\n
      • Provide coaching and leadership to improve staff engagement and motivation <\/b>. <\/li>\n
      • Oversee the use of hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR) <\/b> for patient management. <\/li>\n
      • Implement digital patient services solutions <\/b> such as self-check-in kiosks and online appointment booking. <\/li>\n
      • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize digital communication channels for patients <\/b>. <\/li>\n
      • Monitor data analytics and patient service reports <\/b> to improve efficiency and patient experience. <\/li>\n
      • Ensure billing transparency and accuracy <\/b> in patient service charges. <\/li>\n
      • Coordinate with insurance and finance departments <\/b> to facilitate seamless patient payments. <\/li>\n
      • Optimize revenue cycle management <\/b> by improving admission and discharge efficiency. <\/li>\n

        Candidate Requirements: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

        Education & Certification: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

        • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field <\/b> Required. <\/li>\n
        • Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business (MBA), or equivalent <\/b> Preferred. <\/li>\n
        • Certification in Patient Experience, Healthcare Quality, or Service Excellence <\/b> Preferred. <\/li>\n
        • Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations, DHA standards, and JCI accreditation requirements <\/b> Required. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in hospital administration or patient services management <\/b>. <\/li>\n
