Our client, a prestigious hospital in Dubai <\/b>, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing (DON) <\/b> to oversee and lead the nursing department. This role involves strategic planning, operational leadership, and compliance management <\/b> to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care <\/b> in line with UAE healthcare regulations and international accreditation standards <\/b>. <\/p>\n

  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative <\/b> work environment. <\/li>\n
  • Lead nursing staff recruitment, training, and professional development <\/b> programs. <\/li>\n
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and expenditures <\/b> effectively. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Quality & Patient Care: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care <\/b> in accordance with UAE and international healthcare standards <\/b>. <\/li>\n
    • Monitor patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes <\/b>, implementing improvements as needed. <\/li>\n
    • Oversee infection control and patient safety programs <\/b> to enhance care quality. <\/li>\n
    • Lead initiatives for continuous clinical improvement and nursing excellence <\/b>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

      • Ensure full compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation standards <\/b>. <\/li>\n
      • Implement hospital policies and procedures in accordance with UAE healthcare laws <\/b>. <\/li>\n
      • Lead preparations for regulatory inspections and audits <\/b>, ensuring successful accreditation and compliance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Operational & Administrative Responsibilities: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

        • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) <\/b> for nursing services. <\/li>\n
        • Oversee scheduling, staffing, and workload management <\/b> to optimize patient care. <\/li>\n
        • Collaborate with hospital leadership <\/b> to align nursing operations with strategic goals. <\/li>\n
        • Lead incident management and resolution <\/b> within the nursing department. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Candidate Requirements: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

            Education & Certification: <\/b> <\/h3>\n

            • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) <\/b> Required. <\/li>\n
            • Masters Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent <\/b> Preferred. <\/li>\n
            • Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter <\/b> Required. <\/li>\n
            • Certification in Healthcare Leadership or Nursing Administration <\/b> Preferred. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              • Minimum 10+ years of nursing experience <\/b>, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role <\/b>. <\/li>\n

              • Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and hospital operations <\/b>. <\/li>\n
              • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities <\/b>. <\/li>\n
              • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills <\/b>. <\/li>\n
              • Ability to manage multiple priorities <\/b> in a fast-paced environment. <\/li>\n
              • Proficiency in healthcare IT systems and nursing documentation <\/b>. <\/li>\n
