You will play a strategic and hands-on leadership role in delivering complex water infrastructure projects, driving technical excellence, and supporting the continued growth of WSP\u2019s water business in the region. This is a high-impact position suitable for a senior industry professional with extensive experience in water networks, pumping stations, transmission systems, reservoirs, and integrated water solutions. <\/p>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0633\u0624\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u062a <\/h3>\n<h3>Technical Leadership <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide expert technical leadership and oversight across all water design projects, including water supply networks, transmission pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and associated infrastructure. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure the highest levels of quality, innovation, and compliance with UAE and regional authority standards. <\/li>\n<li>Lead design reviews, value engineering exercises, and complex engineering problem-solving. <\/li>\n<li>Champion best\u2011practice design methodologies, digital solutions, and sustainability-focused approaches. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Project Delivery &#038; Oversight <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as Technical Lead on major water projects from concept through detailed design and delivery. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee multidisciplinary coordination and ensure seamless integration of civil, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and environmental disciplines. <\/li>\n<li>Support project directors and managers with planning, risk management, and technical strategy. <\/li>\n<li>Contribute to preparation of technical reports, design documentation, and client presentations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Client &#038; Stakeholder Engagement <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients\u2014including government entities, utilities, and developers\u2014in the UAE and wider GCC. <\/li>\n<li>Represent WSP as a technical authority in meetings, workshops, and industry forums. <\/li>\n<li>Provide trusted guidance to clients on water planning, design, and asset management challenges. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Business Growth &#038; Strategy <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Support business development activities, including proposal leadership, technical write-ups, and bid reviews. <\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for expanding WSP\u2019s water portfolio across the Middle East. <\/li>\n<li>Mentor and grow the internal water engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering; Master\u2019s degree preferred. <\/li>\n<li>20+ years of experience in water engineering, with at least 8\u201310 years in senior leadership roles. <\/li>\n<li>Proven expertise delivering large-scale water supply and infrastructure design projects in the UAE or GCC. <\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of UAE authority standards\u2014particularly for Abu Dhabi and Dubai. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent stakeholder and client engagement skills. <\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial understanding and experience supporting major bids and frameworks. <\/li>\n<li>Chartered status (CEng, PE, or equivalent) is highly desirable. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
