Our client, a well-established and highly respected IT conglomerate with decades of successful operations in the UAE, is seeking a Senior PMO Director <\/b> to be based in Abu Dhabi. <\/p>\n

This executive leadership role will hold full accountability for P&L performance and delivery governance across a complex consulting technology portfolio spanning multiple operating companies. The position requires a strategic leader capable of driving execution excellence, financial performance, and portfolio transparency across large-scale enterprise programs. <\/p>\n

Position- Senior PMO Director- IT Delivery <\/p>\n

Job Summary <\/h3>\n

The Senior Director, PMO is accountable for delivery governance across the consulting technology portfolio spanning multiple operating companies within the group. <\/p>\n

This role serves as the single point of accountability for project execution excellence, portfolio transparency, financial discipline, and customer outcomes. <\/p>\n

The position leads the community of Project and Program Managers, establishes delivery standards, drives execution predictability, and provides the Divisional CEO with accurate, decision-ready reporting across schedule, cost, risk, and revenue realization. <\/p>\n

  • Own the consolidated view of all active and pipeline engagements <\/li>\n
  • Prioritize initiatives in alignment with strategic and financial objectives <\/li>\n
  • Optimize resource allocation across entities and programs <\/li>\n
  • Establish governance forums, stage gates, and structured escalation paths <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Delivery Assurance <\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Oversee full project lifecycle from initiation to closure <\/li>\n
    • Intervene in challenged programs requiring recovery or executive steering <\/li>\n
    • Ensure active management of dependencies, scope, risks, and change control <\/li>\n
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction and strengthen reference ability <\/li>\n
    • Align delivery execution plans with commercial and contractual terms <\/li>\n
    • Drive milestone achievement required for invoicing and revenue realization <\/li>\n
    • Improve margin performance through scope, effort, and cost discipline <\/li>\n
    • Partner with Finance to enhance forecasting accuracy and predictability <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      PM Capability & Organizational Leadership <\/h3>\n

      • Lead, mentor, and develop the project management community <\/li>\n
      • Define competency frameworks and structured career pathways <\/li>\n
      • Standardize templates, tools, reporting standards, and governance models <\/li>\n
      • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and transparency <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement <\/h3>\n

        • Provide CEO-level dashboards covering portfolio health, risk exposure, and revenue performance <\/li>\n
        • Support strategic bids and executive reviews where delivery credibility is critical <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Qualifications and Experience <\/h3>\n
            \n
          • 10-15 years of Senior leadership experience running a PMO or managing large portfolios in IT services or consulting environments or within IT System integration enviornment <\/b> <\/li>\n
          • Proven track record managing managers within multi-entity or multi-business unit delivery structures <\/li>\n
          • Experience managing fixed-price and milestone-driven contracts <\/li>\n
          • Demonstrated ability to recover and stabilize challenged programs <\/li>\n
          • Technical & Methodological Background <\/li>\n
          • Strong understanding of enterprise technology delivery models <\/li>\n
          • Experience operating across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments <\/li>\n
          • Familiarity with common project management and collaboration platforms <\/li>\n
          • Leadership Characteristic <\/li>\n
          • Commands respect with customers, executives, and cross-functional leaders <\/li>\n
          • Structured, data-driven, and decisive thinker <\/li>\n
          • Comfortable with direct accountability for financial and delivery metrics <\/li>\n
