The role supports operational efficiency, cashflow management, audit readiness and accuracy of financial data across all wallet and treasury systems. <\/p>\n<h3>Crypto Accounting &#038; Reconciliation <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of on-chain and off-chain wallets (BTC, ETH, USDT, etc.). <\/li>\n<li>Track inbound deposits, withdrawals, bonus credits, and other transactions. <\/li>\n<li>Validate transaction data from blockchain explorers and internal systems. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee reconciliations for internal payments as well as between<br \/>platforms \u2192 Payment processors \u2192 Cold &#038; hot wallets \u2192 Treasury. <\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain accounting policies for digital asset recognition, measurement, and disclosure. <\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily \/ weekly and monthly financial reports for leadership. <\/li>\n<li>Well versed with IFRS. <\/li>\n<li>Track cost basis, realised \/ unrealised gains and impairment across digital asset holdings. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate ledger entries for crypto and fiat transactions. <\/li>\n<li>Create and maintain SOPs for all digital asset processes. <\/li>\n<li>Build P&#038;L models tailored for ecommerce <\/li>\n<li>Manage group crypto transfers and settlements. <\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with tax advisors on crypto-specific taxations <\/li>\n<li>Optimise entity structure for digital asset holdings. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Treasury &#038; Liquidity Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor wallet balances to ensure liquidity (hot wallet, operational wallet, cold storage). <\/li>\n<li>Recommend hedging strategies to reduce volatility exposure. <\/li>\n<li>Manage crypto-to-fiat conversions when needed. <\/li>\n<li>Support AML \/ KYC compliance reporting by providing transaction data. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure digital asset operations comply with local regulations. <\/li>\n<li>Maintain audit-ready documentation of all crypto flows. <\/li>\n<li>Prepare documentation for regulatory audits and other types of requirements <\/li>\n<li>Ensure alignment with regulatory entities and financial reporting rules. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate Corporate Tax and VAT return filing. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor and manage exposure to cryptocurrency volatility <\/li>\n<li>Implement hedging strategies where appropriate <\/li>\n<li>Oversee smart contract risk assessment for DeFi integrations <\/li>\n<li>Manage counterparty risk with exchanges and custodians <\/li>\n<li>Maintain disaster recovery and key management procedures <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Platform &#038; Process Support <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with product, compliance, and engineering teams to resolve transactional discrepancies. <\/li>\n<li>Improve automation for reporting and reconciliations. <\/li>\n<li>Design and implement internal controls for crypto operations <\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and implement blockchain analytics and accounting software <\/li>\n<li>Support tax implications across jurisdictions (if applicable). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Market Focus <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand user behavior and transaction patterns <\/li>\n<li>Adapt reporting formats to regionally relevant currencies <\/li>\n<li>Identify market-specific risks such as regional payment bottlenecks, conversion challenges, or regulatory shifts <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Required Skills &#038; Experience <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of blockchain transactions, wallets, explorers, and chain analysis. <\/li>\n<li>Prior experience in crypto accounting, Web3 finance, or ecommerce \/ fintech preferred. <\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with XERO and sub-ledgers for crypto accounting. <\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience and thorough understanding of IFRS for digital assets. <\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with South Asian markets and their banking\/payment ecosystems. <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of AML\/KYC, fraud patterns and other data flows. <\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel\/Sheets, accounting tools, and familiarity with blockchain analytics tools. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with engineering teams and understand API data sources. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>If you think this is the right opportunity for you, don\u2019t hesitate to hit the apply button and send us your application.
