Skills: <\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>15+ years of experience in corporate law, commercial law, M&#038;A, regulatory compliance, and governance, preferably in multinational companies with a focus on Africa and emerging markets. <\/li>\n<li>Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) and a Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant field. <\/li>\n<li>Qualified as a solicitor or attorney in a relevant jurisdiction. <\/li>\n<li>Strong background in contract negotiation, corporate governance, regulatory permitting, and team leadership. <\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to manage complex legal landscapes, advise on large-scale transactions, and build high-performing legal teams. <\/li>\n<li>Fluent in both French and English. <\/li>\n<li>Significant experience working in Africa and emerging markets. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated expertise in the mining, infrastructure, or energy sectors is a plus. <\/li>\n<li>Experience handling multi-jurisdictional legal issues and managing cross-functional teams. <\/li>\n<li>Leading legal teams through successful M&#038;A deals, corporate restructuring, and major international commercial transactions. <\/li>\n<li>Experience with ESG audits and developing action plans based on audit findings. <\/li>\n<li>Building and expanding legal teams in emerging markets, with a focus on skills transfer and mentorship. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Key Skills  <\/b>Mergers &#038;
