Our client based in Dubai &#8211; is a leading transportation, logistics and supply chain group. <\/p>\n<p>This is the permanent role within the organisation. <\/p>\n<p>The role sits within the Strategy &#038; Portfolio Management department and reports directly to the Senior Executive Director of Strategy &#038; Portfolio Management. <\/p>\n<h3>Key responsibilities <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish and implement M&#038;A strategies for the Group and subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives and growth plans. <\/li>\n<li>Continuously refine M&#038;A processes using lessons learned and global best practices to enhance execution discipline, efficiency, and outcomes. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and administrative regulations while handling sensitive information with discretion. <\/li>\n<li>Define KPIs and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of M&#038;A initiatives and monitor data integrity and financial analysis. <\/li>\n<li>Lead the full M&#038;A process with the Executive Director of Strategy &#038; Investment, from opportunity evaluation and pipeline management to Board, shareholder, and regulatory approvals. <\/li>\n<li>Develop valuations, synergy models, and transaction structures to assess deal viability, capture value creation, and secure optimal terms. <\/li>\n<li>Oversee negotiations with counterparties and stakeholders, and design post-deal integration programs, including Day-1 readiness, 100-day plans, and synergy capture. <\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement in M&#038;A execution, maintain a strategic partnership log, and conduct industry research and competitive analyses. <\/li>\n<li>Lead end-to-end due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, tax, and operational areas to ensure disciplined evaluation and risk mitigation. <\/li>\n<li>Identify and manage transaction risks while collaborating with legal and compliance teams on regulatory, audit, and investigation matters. <\/li>\n<li>Partner with leadership and finance teams to streamline processes, assess funding needs, and provide analytical insights on financial performance and portfolio positions. <\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with investment advisors to gain market insights and support deal flow. <\/li>\n<li>Provide internal M&#038;A guidance and represent the organization in forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility and business development. <\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present reports on ongoing and planned M&#038;A initiatives with strategic recommendations for senior management and committees. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor industry and regulatory trends to identify potential M&#038;A opportunities and keep leadership informed of relevant developments. <\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration with CFA, CISI or equivalent certification. <\/li>\n<li>10+ years of experience in mergers &#038;
