Working under the guidance of our leads in Middle East you will be collaborating with our existing team based in the Middle East (ME) Region to develop the regional offering building on your specialized technical knowledge whilst working on the design of some of the most exciting projects in the region. The position is ideal for the suitable individual to work with a driven sustainability team through pro\u2011active engagement with AtkinsR\u00e9alis global offices and clients as well as developing new relationships in the region. <\/p>\n<h3>Your role <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, structural, mechanical and environmental engineers to deliver integrated solutions. <\/li>\n<li>Lead client and stakeholder engagement including participation in progress meetings, technical reviews and approvals. <\/li>\n<li>Support the procurement strategy and review contractor methodologies, equipment selection and temporary works. <\/li>\n<li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of tunneling capability across the business. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About you <\/h3>\n<h3>Key Competencies <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The successful candidate will be educated to degree \/ higher degree level in a relevant subject (Engineering, Sustainable Energy, Building Services Engineering, Sustainable Development, etc.) and will have achieved chartered status and \/ or full or fellow membership of a recognised relevant professional body. <\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8\u201110 years experience across the fields of sustainability and energy in buildings including project management and business development experience. <\/li>\n<li>Possess strong carbon and net zero related expertise; a wide range of skill sets and a willingness to become involved in a broad selection of projects. <\/li>\n<li>Able to scope retrofit projects and identify potential technical solutions, including working to develop a costed decarbonisation roadmap for building assets and estates. <\/li>\n<li>Able to lead sustainability and building physics projects through the full project life cycle, including analysis to support:\n<ul>\n<li>NZEB \/ Low\/Net Zero Carbon\/Energy Building design strategies. <\/li>\n<li>Green building certifications (LEED, WELL &#038; ILFI). <\/li>\n<li>Building life\u2011cycle assessments (particularly operational carbon aspects). <\/li>\n<li>Predictive energy assessments. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in tackling multidisciplinary consultancy or service projects that cross the boundaries between the traditional engineering and other disciplines such as IT, urban planning and engineering. <\/li>\n<li>Experience in leading projects involving building sustainability certification appraisals (BREEAM, LEED, WELL) carbon footprints, building energy audits, carbon management services, climate change assessments and the net zero transitions (embodied or net zero operational buildings) or related services. <\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in business development and bid management including responding to client RFPs and preparing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and mentor junior team members, fostering growth in core competencies and professional capabilities. <\/li>\n<li>Must have at least one of the following credentials:\n<ul>\n<li>LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with specialty (BDC, IDC, OM, ND, Homes). <\/li>\n<li>Mostadam AP \/ Estidama PQP. <\/li>\n<li>WELL Accredited Professional. <\/li>\n<li>BERDE Certified Professional. <\/li>\n<li>Low Carbon Consultant \/ Low Carbon Assessor. <\/li>\n<li>Residential\/Commercial Energy Auditor. <\/li>\n<li>Other credentials focused on sustainability and sustainable development. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The Individual <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical and communication skills \u2013 we believe in the use of quality data to drive objective decision making. <\/li>\n<li>Be highly self\u2011motivated, possessing strong enthusiasm and commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes. <\/li>\n<li>Be flexible, adaptable and prepared to take on new challenges and work from other AtkinsR\u00e9alis or client office locations. <\/li>\n<li>Experienced in line management with responsibility for staff line management and performance management. <\/li>\n<li>Have strong report writing, communication and presentation skills. <\/li>\n<li>Have experience with emerging carbon and net zero regulations, guidance and standards. <\/li>\n<li>Knowledgeable of international regulatory frameworks, guidance and standards would be an advantage. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Rewards &#038; benefits <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Tax\u2011free salary. <\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive life insurance coverage. <\/li>\n<li>Discretionary bonus program. <\/li>\n<li>Employee Wellbeing Programme: 24\/7 access to specialists in finance, legal matters, family care, personal health, fitness and nutrition. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About AtkinsR\u00e9alis <\/h3>\n<p>We are AtkinsR\u00e9alis, a world\u2011class engineering services and nuclear organisation.
