If that describes you, 2 Hour Learning is seeking its academic leader. <\/p>\n<p>2 Hour Learning has developed a model enabling students to learn at twice the speed in only two hours per day. This is achieved through AI-driven tutoring, mastery-based progression, and a fundamental rethinking of traditional classroom design. The outcomes speak for themselves. We now need a leader capable of aligning execution across varied school models, elevating academic leadership standards, and serving as the public advocate for a movement rooted in robust learning science. <\/p>\n<p>This is not a position centered on academic theory. It is a leadership assignment. You will be accountable for academic strategy in action, establish definitive standards, pinpoint gaps in execution, and guide high-caliber teams toward measurable results. You will convert our scientific underpinnings into operational rigor and articulate this model&#8217;s value to a global audience. <\/p>\n<h3>What You Will Be Doing <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable guidance for curriculum development, motivational systems, and application design. <\/li>\n<li>Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to confirm school teams remain aligned, accountable, and results-driven. <\/li>\n<li>Analyzing data, interviews, and direct observations to produce academic ecosystem assessments that identify the most critical barriers to accelerated learning and recommend concrete interventions. <\/li>\n<li>Ensuring strategic alignment via planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives. <\/li>\n<li>Serving as 2 Hour Learning&#8217;s representative at the highest forums, including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education, to advance systemic transformation in global education thinking. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What You Won\u2019t Be Doing <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Engaging in isolated curriculum initiatives that fail to produce systemic impact. <\/li>\n<li>Producing theoretical research disconnected from student outcomes or operational execution. <\/li>\n<li>Transferring accountability for performance to mid-level managers or external consultants. <\/li>\n<li>Depending on institutional reputation or conceptual frameworks to convince skeptical audiences. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Director Of Academic Excellence Key Responsibilities <\/h3>\n<p>Expand and refine 2 Hour Learning&#8217;s validated academic model by harmonizing execution across schools, raising leadership expectations, and establishing yourself as the authoritative voice of a movement built on rigorous science and demonstrable results. <\/p>\n<h3>Basic Requirements <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree (Master&#8217;s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field <\/li>\n<li>7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes <\/li>\n<li>Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning <\/li>\n<li>Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising <\/li>\n<li>Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar <\/li>\n<li>Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions <\/li>\n<li>Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Nice-to-have Requirements <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech venture <\/li>\n<li>Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts <\/li>\n<li>Deep familiarity with Bloom&#8217;s 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>About 2 Hour Learning <\/h3>\n<p>Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn\u2019t have to be. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD\/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD\/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
