You will own the P&#038;L, shape sector strategies, deepen strategic client relationships, and strengthen our market position while ensuring disciplined risk management and governance. This role reports to the Managing Director &#038; Head of Wholesale Banking Group \u2013 Coverage and is based in Abu Dhabi. <\/p>\n<h3>What You\u2019ll Be Doing: <\/h3>\n<h3>Business &#038; Revenue Leadership <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own the full P&#038;L for Corporate Banking \u2013 Abu Dhabi, driving asset, liability, fee income and cross\u2011sell performance. <\/li>\n<li>Lead growth across Large Corporates, GREs, Family Groups and select Multinationals. <\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute sector-focused strategies (Energy, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Government, Industrials, Services, Trade). <\/li>\n<li>Increase wallet share through transaction banking, trade finance, treasury, cash management, FX and capital markets solutions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Client Relationship Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as Senior Relationship Sponsor for top-tier strategic clients. <\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with C\u2011suite executives, owners, boards and government stakeholders. <\/li>\n<li>Lead complex credit structuring, negotiations, and syndication activities in partnership with Investment Banking and Risk teams. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure disciplined credit growth aligned with UAE Central Bank guidelines and internal risk appetite. <\/li>\n<li>Participate in and\/or chair credit committees; approve exposures within delegated authority. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor portfolio quality, early warning indicators and remediation plans. <\/li>\n<li>Lead and develop Relationship Managers and Unit Heads; drive a high\u2011performance culture. <\/li>\n<li>Set clear KPIs across business development, client experience and risk management. <\/li>\n<li>Build strong succession pipelines and promote a collaborative team environment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Stakeholder &#038; Governance Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Treasury, Trade and Investment Banking teams. <\/li>\n<li>Represent the bank with regulators, government bodies and industry forums in Abu Dhabi. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to governance standards, policies and regulatory requirements. <\/li>\n<li>Stay abreast of industry trends and drive innovative initiatives that enhance competitiveness. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What We\u2019re Looking For: <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline; MBA preferred. <\/li>\n<li><b>15+ years\u2019 experience <\/b> in banking\/financial services with strong Corporate Banking leadership exposure. <\/li>\n<li>Proven success managing large corporate\/GRE portfolios and driving strategic growth. <\/li>\n<li>Deep knowledge of lending, trade finance, cash management and treasury products. <\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of UAE market dynamics and regulatory frameworks. <\/li>\n<li>Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills. <\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of developing high\u2011performing teams. <\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English;
