If you want to be a part of our unwavering team and can bring your sense of imagination and determination to every challenge, then this is the right place for you. <\/p>\n<p><b>Stantec <\/b> is currently looking for a <b>Project Manager <\/b> to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi and support our ongoing projects in the UAE. <\/p>\n<p>The role involves working on projects associated with wastewater and water engineering. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration, and construction management. <\/p>\n<p>Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to: <\/p>\n<h3>1. Manage project delivery and Execution. <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Project delivery planning and control. <\/li>\n<li>Determine budgets, timelines and cost estimates for project &#8211; design and construction. <\/li>\n<li>Management of project financials. <\/li>\n<li>Development of project programs and project execution plans. <\/li>\n<li>Internal and external project reporting. <\/li>\n<li>Contract management and reporting. <\/li>\n<li>Overviewing the Construction phase and liaising with Contractors and Developers. <\/li>\n<li>Management of sub-consultants. <\/li>\n<li>Quality and HSE assurance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Oversee project technical delivery as part of a team. <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding of client requirements and processes. <\/li>\n<li>Managing all stages of the design process from concept to detail design, and tender. <\/li>\n<li>Leading the engineering delivery team and managed project activities through the application of technical engineering planning, principles and techniques. <\/li>\n<li>Review project deliverables including writing technical reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, handling project correspondence. <\/li>\n<li>Work in conjunction with engineers to solve project design problems. <\/li>\n<li>Liaison with the different teams working to facilitate completion of tasks, and project. <\/li>\n<li>Good communicator. <\/li>\n<li>Support the team through the delivery process including the technical studies and site investigations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Client Service Management <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Client and stakeholders management, communication and liaison. <\/li>\n<li>Internal and external client liaison. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain lasting and positive relationships. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner. <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures. <\/li>\n<li>Design for safety, i.e. Construction Design Management. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>5.
