We support our educators and specialists through ongoing development and evidence-based practices, ensuring each role contributes to shaping confident, curious, and compassionate young learners. <\/p>\n<h3>Role Purpose <\/h3>\n<p>The Psychologist supports the psychological, behavioral, and socio-emotional development of children aged 0\u20134 across SGN nurseries. The role provides expert assessment, early intervention, consultation, and guidance for three key groups: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Children <\/b> \u2013 psychological assessment, emotional\/behavioral support, early intervention. <\/li>\n<li><b>Teacher <\/b>s \u2013 training, classroom guidance, behavior management strategies. <\/li>\n<li><b>Parents <\/b> \u2013 counselling, positive parenting support, developmental guidance. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Psychologist ensures that all children\u2019s developmental needs are understood and supported using evidence-based early childhood psychology practices. <\/p>\n<h3>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0647\u0627\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0633\u0627\u0633\u064a\u0629 <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Direct Support for Children (Primary Role) <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct psychological, developmental, and behavioral assessments for children aged 0\u20134. <\/li>\n<li>Identify developmental delays, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation issues, and social-emotional needs. <\/li>\n<li>Develop individualized psychological support plans and implement early intervention strategies. <\/li>\n<li>Deliver one-on-one or small-group sessions to promote emotional, social, and behavioral development. <\/li>\n<li>Monitor and document progress using validated early childhood assessment tools. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Support and Capacity Building for Teachers <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Train educators on early childhood development, emotional regulation, behavior guidance, and early warning signs. <\/li>\n<li>Provide classroom coaching and model child-centered behavioral strategies. <\/li>\n<li>Assist teachers in managing challenging behaviors using proactive, positive approaches. <\/li>\n<li>Help create inclusive, emotionally supportive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environments. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Guidance, Counselling &#038; Engagement for Parents <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Offer counseling and guidance to support children\u2019s growth and well-being. <\/li>\n<li>Conduct workshops on positive parenting, emotional support, early childhood development, and behavior strategies. <\/li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with families regarding assessments, interventions, and progress. <\/li>\n<li>Strengthen home\u2013nursery partnerships for consistent child support. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Safeguarding &#038; Child Protection <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify and address concerns related to child well-being following SGN safeguarding protocols. <\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance on trauma-informed and child-safe practices. <\/li>\n<li>Participate in case reviews and child-protection processes in line with UAE regulations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Program Development &#038; Multidisciplinary Collaboration <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with speech therapists, inclusion specialists, and external agencies. <\/li>\n<li>Contribute to SGN\u2019s early intervention and inclusive education initiatives. <\/li>\n<li>Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert recommendations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Documentation, Reporting &#038; Data Governance <\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate psychological records, case notes, and developmental data. <\/li>\n<li>Prepare progress reports, summaries, and recommendations for internal use and families. <\/li>\n<li>Ensure all documentation complies with ethical, confidentiality, and UAE safeguarding standards. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Minimum Qualifications <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field (PhD preferred). <\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of experience working with young children in clinical, educational, or early intervention settings. <\/li>\n<li>Expertise in early childhood socio-emotional and behavioral development. <\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in Arabic and English (mandatory). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Additional Preferred Certifications \/ Credentials <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>UAE-recognized licenses or certifications (CDA, MOE, DHA\/DOH, Ministry of Health). <\/li>\n<li>Experience in nursery\/early childhood or GCC educational settings. <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of UAE safeguarding and inclusion policies. <\/li>\n<li>Advanced assessment and diagnostic skills for early childhood. <\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of socio-emotional development and behavior management. <\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and counseling skills with both adults and children. <\/li>\n<li>Ability to support teachers through coaching, modeling, and practical strategies. <\/li>\n<li>High ethical standards, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality. <\/li>\n<li>Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why This Role Matters? <\/h3>\n<p>The Psychologist plays a foundational role in promoting children\u2019s emotional well-being, supporting teachers, and empowering parents to foster healthy home\u2013nursery connections.
